Since God's got that ruling on his own without any of our input deal down pat, I doubt it.

Definitely yes.
With the Comforter teaching all truth as ordianed by the One True God, mankind realize the complete equality among all people, and evidently democracy becomes something quite natural.
Now, in the Community of the Greatest Name, all the administrative institutions are elected absolutely free, with no candidate, with no campaign, with no introductuion. All the believers at the age of administrative maturity (21 years old and over) are voters and candidates. And people being elected have not become individual leaders, but they work as equal members in the institutions; and after the institutions' meetings they still remain as equal to all other believers and obey the decisions of the institutions like all other believers.
And they all enjoy rapture, because they constantly live under the ruling of the divine laws of God, not of man or the laws of man.

After the rapture of believers, the antichrist will rise in power. He will be proclaiming peace and equality for three and a half years. He will bring about a 'one world' democracy. after the first three and a half years, he will show his true colors and disolve the democracy for a global empire. Durring this time the rights of man will be disolved and all who even speak jokingly about rising against him will be killed. so if having no rights and being part of a global dictatorship which will fall 7 years after it begins sounds like a true democracy, then yes.

I have never heard of the "rapture" but I don't think true democracy (i.e. rule of the people, for the people, by the people) is possible. There are simply too many of us.

As the others are saying, according to the bible..the rapture wont happen. It's just a fictional theory people came up with, and when you do a lot of bible study you can really start to see the truth about how the end times come down. ^_^

Don't learn your theology from the "Left Behind" books. It will not happen that way. That theology only came about around a hundred years ago in Darby's imagination.
Prior to the 19th Century no church, Catholic or Protestant, ever taught or believed such a thing. Its new...therefore its false.
