A tongue is most dangerous than a sword because tongue has no bone.Experience is the best teacher.I hope Pope will not say the same wrong picture about Islam.Islamic teaching in the era of Muhammad up till now is not spreading by force.Muhammad at that time killed the unbelievers because they attacked Muhammad and his followers. That was a true fact.

Number one mohhamed was involved in wars/lead armies and people were killed. That is a fact and it's in the quran. What radical islam is doing is NOTHING and I do mean nothing short of what the nazis did. Radical islam already have a jihad against the west, america, israel, and the U.K. They call christians horrible for what happened during the crusades and now they are doing what we catholics did then. How do you justify blowing uppeople as right? How do you even have the audacity to say it is what God wants? If peace ispreached in Islam ow in the hell do you show it by killing innocents and killing those who don't see things your way. Radical Islam is a joke and they all need to be wiped off of the face of the earth for their murders and inhumane acts towards real muslims, Jews, Catholics and christians.

Your words attempt to spin the issue. If any religion were "brought by the sword" it would have to be advanced by violence (as the word "sword" contextually refers to violence). But this is different than the much narrower consideration of whether that same prophet who brought his religion by the sword "killed...just because someone didn't accept him." Muhammad himself killed many people. This is an historical fact. Now, were they killed to advance the religion, or for some other reason? If they weren't killed to advance the religion, we need to then consider what the killing was for. Many were killed in battles, not murders or executions. What were the battles for? Lipstick? Video games? The battles were for religion only if the prophet was a religious personage. You make the call.

the pope did nothing wrong....he has every right to speak the truth ..the muslims think the world sees them as a peaceful and loving religion ..but the sad point is that they are the only ones who believe it.....no one else is falling for it....I mean how blind do they really think the world is...we can see with our own eye s what they are really like but yet the muslims live in this make believe realm where they really believe we see them in another light...I only see evil in them and they need to be wipe off the face of the earth......they are destructive and killers.

If you look at the historical facts about what the Pope said its all true.

And to show that I am not picking sides the catholic church should also accept the truth of what the church has done in the past and what is happening currently.

The Christian Church also has its history but we have learned to ask for forgiveness and to repent of our past.

Pope poured little oil into the fire. Not going to make much difference since Nostradamus has foreseen the assault of Islam on Christianity

regrettably, a lot of my Christian brethern do not understand what they are believing in. they say that the Pope grow to be "purely conversing the reality," whilst they tend to miss the Crusades, the Spanish Inquisition, and the Holocaust in Nazi Germany, all sanctioned by potential of "Christians" who're perverting the scriptures of the Bible the same way that the Muslims pervert their scriptures whilst they fly airplanes into homes. till we recover from this "My God is better than your God" undertaking, we will purely shop killing one yet another and blowing one yet another up.

What nonsense. He didn't "copy" anyone else's speech. He was commenting on the history of violence in religion, his own as well as Islam and others. He "quoted" a conversation that took place 600 years ago.

Look it up yourself. You're part of the problem if you don't get your facts straight before reacting.

Aw good on him. Their are too many goody-two-shoes politically correct whackers in the world. People need to start speaking out about things they believe in.
