The pope probably is a racist...if you think that some man prancing around in expensive robes, sitting on a throne, surrounded by vast wealth and power..is somehow representitive of christ, you must think as little of him as I do.

I don't see how any rational person could possibly disagree with him.
Violence to promote religion IS evil.
And the firebombings by Muslims to protest his statement just prove that he was right about it being a particular problem with Islam.

Yes, definitely, especially because he was talking about the wrong in using violence to promote religion, citing Rome, Islam and others.
