I am Christian and have noticed that people are thinking that God is a symbol of hatred rather than love. personally I believe that the person who uses God to get his/her own wants is the person who should be hated. what do you think?

I missed this current event somewhere...
I keep seeing questions about it but it would make more sense to me if I knew what he said.

Many will say that this commandment refers to the taking of oaths or using the Lord's name profanely. Yet it says in Exodus 20 verse 7:

"You shalt not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes His name in vain."

Could this not also apply to those who call themselves Christians and practice 'churchianity', yet never really make Jesus the Lord of their life? Wouldn't this also be taking the Lord's Name in vain (or empty uselessness)?

I have studied the scriptures and I feel deeply that He has put His female faces and being in my heart.... Why cant I be now His female faces as a daughter of God as a girl is the female expression of her father ? ( As Genesis says that male and female are the image of God... now in me thru the blessed Cross of Jesus )

At the last minute before my execution I ask god to forgive me, will I go to heaven? (I'm not saying that I even believe in heaven, but am just curious to see what the answer would be) And if I do ask god to forgive me, and I really mean it, why is it even fair that I should still be allowed to go to heaven at all?

Let me first say that this question is NOT about abortion. It is about BIRTH CONTROL! If you flame me for your assumptions about my abortion views, which you don't know about, then you obviously won't get ten points!

-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Birth Control pills work by preventing the FERTILIZED EGG from implanting on the uterus wall, which is called CONCEPTION.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Though it's not about abortion, you might be able to read some stem-cell implications into it. I'm not familiar if stem cells can be harvested before conception or not.

"And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and -hell- delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their worlks."

How many "oops" did I just hear?

So tell me, christians, why you refuse to minister to the souls in hell when they are yet to be called for judgment? Tell me how you believe they are all condemned when they have yet to be judged?

Tell me why you allow moral cowardice to prevent you from showing the souls in hell the christian love and compassion you are called upon to show by your god?

Tell me why you won't pick up your cross and follow Jesus into Hell to preach to the damned (I Peter 3:19, Matthew 10:38).

Tell me why you've ridiculed a poor, stupid -nonchristian- ant who knew more about this than any christian who has yet answered?

Like I said, I am not very religious. But I know that God gave us free will, the right for us to make our own decisions. There are millions of people who belief that every thing that happens in our lives is predetermined, that we have our futures completely mapped out.

My question is, does free will contradict the belief that everything in life is predetermined? Do people just tell themselves that everything happens for a reason to make themseleves feel better, or does it say it in the Bible?

If it was never saved by Jesus Christ, yet was still given a soul by fertilization, wouldn't it have to go to hell according to the bible?

Jesus said he was the way and the light and the only path to heaven right?

So that kinda sucks if your soul was aborted but you never had a chance to hear the words Jesus Christ, and now, according to the bible, you HAVE to spend eternity in hell.

Does the bible provide some sort of loophole or contradiction to Jesus' words for this?

I'm having trouble with this. Snowflake babies are born from frozen fertilized eggs that have been sitting in a fertility clinics freezers.....

My bible tells me that the Soul enters the body at fertilization, so is GOD freezing these souls, or is he putting them in some sort of waiting room until they are unfrozen?

And what happens to all of the frozen embryos that are discarded? Are their souls banished to hell?

I'm having trouble finding Scientific evidence for Intelligent Design, and I want my public schools to teach it, but I need evidence to present to the board of ed. I can't find any scientific data that even hints toward the existence of God....

Any suggestions to what kind of evidence I should present?
