Not really a sin in any Christian church, however, it would not be recognized as a valid marriage inside the Catholic Church.

Then living together after an invalid marriage would be a sin, unless of course you slept in different beds and never touched each other.

No. I'm interested why you ask this questions?
Why do think it would make a difference if the person was Christian considering it sinful?

People get married all the time and in all kinds of places. That is what we do. We get married and have children and live our lives together till god calls us home.

I'm sorry, but I don't think you put any thought in your question at all.><>

I'm a Christian and I know of no Christians that view that type ceremony to be a sin. It's marriage!

No... however... for God to recognize the marrage it would have to be between two of same faith in God... marrage between those not of The Chrch is only a legal arrangment of man's law not of God... Marrage between two of God's people wuld be recognized by God regardless of the cercomstances of the joining. and who performed the legal requirements of man's law... as both would be of God then,,, accourding to Christs own words... "where two or more are gathered in my name there am I" Where Christ is that is where The Church is...

Probably not. It is necessary to be legally married as well as spiritually; most religious ceremonies are just trappings.
