Hell is not a place of eternal torment according to the Bible. It is the common grave of mankind. Jesus spent parts of 3 days there and he was a perfect man. The Bible says the dead are conscious of NOTHING AT ALL, so they would not even know they were being tormented if this were true. The Bible holds out the hope of everlasting life to all people--we just have to choose to live according to Bible principles--the alternative is death.

does it matter? the bible says many things - most of them arent meant to be taken literally, because they are the product of another time and culture. you can justify nearly any behavior with the bible, many which are considered immoral, or are actually illegal - do you really need some sort of permission or justification from the bible? if god is just, anyone, of any religion (or no religion) who is a GOOD PERSON should not go to hell - by the way, look around - youre in hell.

No! Out of wedlock is the sin of the two people who conceived a child without being married. The sin belongs to the them, not the child.

I have never heard of any priest, clergy, or other saying that a child will go to hell for being born out of wedlock. That doesn't even make any sense.

It doesn't say anything of this nature any where in the Bible either.

If even toddlers are concern to being solid into Hell, and you think Hell exists, then by using definition guy could could be accountable earlier the Lord. Very, very accountable if it extends to those below the age of reason. Which makes God very, very holy. what's the way out of our quandary if no person useful factors Heaven on their very own? A Savior, of course. Even for the youngsters. And so Christian mothers and dads come to Him on their knees in repentance, bringing their young little ones with them and laying them in the shadow of the wade by using baptism. He died for them too. And if your question has to do with the atheist relatives, who does not see the choose for a savior, will they no longer discourage perception in Christ as their toddler a protracted time? they won't step right into a church to baptize their teen different than for superstitious reasons possibly. they'll go away their toddler to the wolves till God, in His grace, seizes them from their clutches. Make no mistake, God will do the final concern. He can seek the midsection, he can keep or supply all of us over to a reprobate techniques as He wills -- and has decreed from earlier the guidelines of the international have been laid.

Read the new Testament, Jesus came for every single person and died for every single person. if the above ? was true. so much much much more people would go tho hell. How possibly can the sin of our parents cause us to be damned to hell.

That's what my ex-priest said. He also said that he would not baptise my daughter unless I confessed that she was a sin... I would not, and as a result I am not a practicing Catholic any longer. I'm not sure if it says that in the old testament or not,,,, will have to check. ps she got herself baptised by her pastor while she was at youth group years later, so pffftt at my old *father*.
