it has something to do with music theory...does anyone know the history of the demonic fifth and the story behind it?

This might be something along the lines of syncopated rhythm being demonic and other pseudo-theories that have no basis except certain people's biases against "modern" music.

I like what early Christian rock musician Darrell Mansfield said: "Show me a satanic note on the musical scale and I won't play it."

The Demonic Fifth can be referring to the Fifth Trumpet in the Book of Revelation. It's a quite interesting read. Other than that, I have never heard of it in music. I believe this is a good source below.

look up "tritone" it has been many years for me but I do remember from" Westside Story" the song Maria uses the tritone
I can't remember the devil part and why people were afraid to use it
