Does anyone have any idea what the unforgiveable sin really is, because I still don't understand it.

Judas Iscariot also did this. Anyone to whom the actual truth of the Bible, God and Jesus has been revealed, who then turns against it and actually risks another person's spiritual life as a result of having done so is guilty of this sin. Apostate is the word used to describe such a person.

Blaspheming against the holy spirit is the unforgivable sin. When that guy said that Jesus used the devil to cast out devils, he sinned against the holy spirit because Jesus used the holy Spirit to cast out the demons, This is the unforgivable sin. But There are other ways to go about committing it. But it would be of that nature.

No SATAN did not commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. AS the Holy Spirit created SATAN for a purpose as it did ever thing else.
SATAN was assigned the task of trying to tempt human souls away from GODS commandments. And don't confuse Satan with the other names given by the Christian Church. ST Lucifer is still a fallen angel because of pride and is awaiting the Judgment day along with the other rebel angels that he collected in a place of confinement. The other names comes from the idea that as above so below . therefore there must be as many levels of Hell as their are of Heaven and each level has its own ruler.

Hm. Well, from what I understand of it..I see it as if you totally reject God/Holy Spirit. Everyone can be forgiven for everything..But, there's a certain limit. Lets say that you 'know' that something is a sin (We'll say sex, for example)...Yet, knowing that you're hurting God..you go and do it anyway..and dont ever repent. Continue to do it ,even. The way I see it is..if you were to die having never repented after 'willingly' disobeying God..That would be unforgivable. I don't think that, while we're alive and able to change, God will ever take away our chance for forgiveness. If that were so, it would make it unfair..and well..God's just not unfair. ^_^

There is no sin so great that God cannot forgive it. But, like I have responded to other questions similar to this, God's forgiveness should not be confused with God's tolerance towards evil or wrong doing.

The only way to enter heaven is to accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. The only way to enter hell is to NOT accept Jesus Christ as your Saviour. These are the only conditions. It does not matter what good or bad things you do.

Satan was kicked out of heaven because he wanted to usurp God's authority. He wanted to BE God. God is very clear about no other god's before Him. This included Satan. So, Satan was punished by being banned from heaven.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

There is no salvation available to any of the fallen angels. Jesus sacrafice was for the salvation of men (humans) only.

The unforgivable sin is to deny that Christ can or will forgive you. To believe your sin is so great its beyond Him. This will not be forgiven because YOU have made the decision to not repent.

satan is the only child of Father judge to death thus far....Unforgivable sin is not allowing Holy Spirit to talk for you when brought up to satan as witness that he is Jesus

The normal interpretation of original sin is the denial of Christ as Lord. cf. passage "No one can say....except by the Spirit." In the Bible, Judas is the prime candidate - the issue with suicide is sure what the last moments were: repentance or simply remorse.
What do you think?
