I hope he will not be assassinated because such an act would be a very bad reflection on the Muslim faith and would have the unfortunate effect of pitting Christians against Muslims.

They might, and the western world will probably sit there and wring their hands like babbling, moronic idiots, blathering about how the Pope shouldna said those really bad thingies rather than placing blame where it belongs, on the Islamic culture of the Middle East that doesn't tolerate any criticism, but is happy to turn a blind eye (or cheer in the streets, often enough) violence and murder in response.

If the pope is killed that will set off a BIGGGGGGGGGGGGGG war. and yes the west and alot of other nations mainly catholic nations(all of south america, italy, the philippeins) will be involved. They might try to kill him they aren't to be taken as a joke. He is the biggest figure in christianity and if he dies then that gives muslims a very bad rep to christians and that could be taken as the last straw because there are soooo many catholics and christains that hold him very dear and of importance. That will set off the biggest war ever. I'm catholic and that would infuriate me just imagine if 2 billion christians feel the same. Alot of muslims will get it in america and vice versa with christians in the middl east.

No, not at all. The victim, if there is one, should not be held primarily responsible for the acts of a criminal. It will be an assassins who will determine if he will be assassinated.
Are you responsible for your teen daughter being raped if she goes to the mall in shorts?
Is MLK responsible for his own death because he spoke of civil rights?
What he says, right or wrong cannot be the primary reason he might be killed. His statements can be wise or foolish but nothing should take away from the guilt of the actual perpetrator, if any.

I think it would be a WW III if the Muslims did that....
"He already apologized so the case is closed.
Please no more hatred, ignorant questions again."
Actually the Pope did not apologize he just apologized about the anger it caused in the Muslim community.

if he is stupid enough to say what he said, and then go into a muslim country, he deserves to be shot. The sad thing is is that the muslims are attacking churches, and not discrimination on what denomination or religion they are. As there are christian churches and then there are catholic churches, two totally different religions with two totally different beliefs. What he said does not reflect the christian population, but he is putting a bad wrap on all of the catholics, if i were a catholic, i would be pissed at him more.

I don't think so. And if there is an attempt, it will fail. The Last Days Papal prophecies show that he must live at least another year.
