I have heard they ask Pope to sit on a chair which have hole in the seat. One of the person check his testicals with hand whether is a normal male. Is it true?

By certain definitions of the word 'normal' that would exclude all cardinals.
I believe on pope was chosen because a bird flew in and rested on his head. Forgive me if I'm mistaken.

I'm not sure if they still do - but this used to be the case. Two explanations - there is a biblical prohibition on people with castrated or crushed testicles entering the house of god (Not making it up!) and then there is the story of Pope Joan - in Medieval times a woman blagged her way into the papacy! So after that they just had to make sure!

Never heard this before, but I assume they have to make sure he is a man with a pulse.
Facts are sometimes stranger than fiction. eg read the link below where some christians believe the pope to be the anti-christ!
