i find it really hard to get my head around this evolution thingy.. its strange that i have hair and not fur..i have a mind that can think about what im thinking about..i have feelings and emotionals..fingerprints like no one elses and dna so complex it could reach far beond the sun if it was untangled..yet this all came from nothing, so i hear..is evolution real?if so id like some real facts to prove it?because i'm really struggling to understand it..Or is it just something a bunch of geeks made up??
How was the earth formed??
Why hasn't the earth crashed into another planet??
I can't understand how we become so complex people..from nothing. yet the animals arnt getting much smarter? I don't think I'm as near as smart as my grandparents??maybe we are just getting dumber?

Your young yet. Give it some time and some day someone will wish that they were as smart as their grandma. That grandma will be you.

Who ever said that you came from nothing. Evolution and God are not incompatible ideas.

This is a misunderstanding people have who don,t have the ability to conceptualise a non physical reality. A spiritual reality.

Spirit is real even though it is clever enough to cover its tracks well with a physical reality that does not support the reality of spirit in any way.

This may sound stupid but if you really want to understand how we could have come from what appears to be nothing it is not as hard to understand as it seems. There is a movie out that explains it very well. It is called " What the bleep, down the rabbit hole."

Again, this movie is not much help to someone who can't conceptualise the possibility of a nonphysical reality, but I don't think that this applies to you.

You probably could not have ask the question you asked if this was the case.

Contact me if I can assist you in any way.

Love and blessings

your grandparents have more experience in life.
We don't come from nothing... if the basic theories of evolution is true than one could say "in the beginning there was nothing and even that exploded"
Those exploded parts somehow found their way together and somehow knew how 2 shape first living cell. that one cell somehow knew how to multiply itself and develop into cells with completely different functions like a big company developed itself wi/o any guidance of a master brain...
come on, if one can believe that, i think the first cell forgot to shape braincells

i studied lots of these theories and they all are huge buildings wi/o ground floor nor 1st floor... that means they have no basis

Evolution has its problems, and it cannot be proven, but that doesn't automatically support some other hypothesis. At least evolution is partially rooted in science, whereas the intelligent design you seem to be hinting at is religion.

maybe you ae getting dumber, i find that i am moe intelligent then my grandparents as i am not a traditionalist who takes what my parents taught me as absolute truth but seek my own faith. evolution, unlike religion, is based off of scientific study, as in multiple scientific tests. we do not know everything as there is still much more to learn about evolution.

EDITED: that's what seperate an atheist from a theist. the atheist bases his/her belief on what is proven scientifically, the theist just "knows" that he/she is right
