If someone came with a NEW BIBLE and said these are the words of God, would you believe them? I mean if we were made in God's image then wouldn't it suggest that God has fault's as man does and he could rewrite the bible through MAN again, or the bible many follow now could hold mistakes and discrepencies as no one is perfect including God.

Please do not quote the bible in your answer. Please use your own words.

Matthew 11:25 "At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes." Yes there is a difference from what gentiles(yea, I know this term is making you angry, good. ignorance breeds anger ,ya know) think they know and what real christians actually know. So, yes , not to be one of God's kids is not to be "in the know"(revealed spiritual knowledge)

if there is a god then isn't it clear to you about how evil he is?

he wants people to believe in him pray to him worship him go to church.

and didn't god try to trick abraham in to killing his own son
only to test him? that sounds like a horible person dosn't it?

god seems really conceided

god wants people dead for working on the sabbath. that isn't very loving

if god is real then he is a monster he is insane and a very horrible being and if he is suposedly perfect then why does he contradict himself through the whole bible?

If you answered this question "Yes"
F@*&in' Liar.

If you answered this question "No"
Well, how can you be so sure that those guys that you criticized because their understanding of GOD and the Bible is not exactly like yours? If you don't understand GOD and the Bible TOTALLY, what makes you so much better than someone else that also claims to know a little somethin' about GOD? What makes your interpretation so much better than theirs? For all you know, Moses just made all that stuff up so people would stop ignoring him.

So, what makes your understanding of the Bible any better than, say, mine that you can just ridicule and curse at me every chance you get just because I don't say exactly what you say when someone asks me some tough questions? And, don't give me that "I't GOD's word and he's never wrong" crap because YOU'RE not GOD, and you're wrong all the time.

You jerks should learn to be more like those of us that aren't constantly out hunting witches.

It's clear in the Bible that not all religions lead to God, why do you fool yourselves on this? If you don't believe the Bible to be the inspired word of God, again you are fooling yourselves. If you don't believe in the word of God, how can you or what do you exercise faith in, if you claim to have faith, it's not according to accurate knowledge and again does not lead to God. Why don't you really study and meditate on God's word instead of worldly philosophies?

281. And guard yourselves against a day in which ye will be brought back to Allah. Then every soul will be paid in full
that which it hath earned, and they will not be wronged.
//////////////////////////////
81. How should I fear that which ye set up beside Him, when ye fear not to set up beside Allah that for which He hath
revealed unto you no warrant? `Which of the two factions hath more right to safety?, (Answer me that) if ye have
knowledge.
82. Those who believe and obscure not their belief by wrong doing, theirs is safety; and they are rightly guided.
83. That is Our argument. We gave it unto Abraham against his folk. We raise unto degrees of wisdom whom We will.
Lo! thy Lord is Wise, Aware.
84. And We bestowed upon him Isaac and Jacob; each of them We guided; and Noah did We guide aforetime; and of
his seed (We guided) David and Solomon and Job and Joseph and Moses and Aaron. Thus do We reward the good.
85. And Zachariah and John and Jesus and Elias. Each one (of them) was of the righteous.
86. And Ishmael and Elisha and Jonah and Lot. Each one of them did We prefer above (Our) creatures,
87. With some of their forefathers and thee offspring and thee brethren; and We chose them and guided them unto a
straight path:
88. Such is the guidance of Allah wherewith He guideth whom He will of His bondmen. But if they had set up (for
worship ) aught beside Him, (all) that they did would have been vain.
89. Those are they unto whom We gave the Scripture and command and prophethood. But if these disbelieve therein,
then indeed We shall entrust it to a people who will not be disbelievers therein.
90. Those are they whom Allah guideth, so follow their guidance. Say (O Muhammad, unto mankind): I ask of you no
fee for it. Lo! it is naught but a Reminder to (His) creatures.
////////////////////////

71. Say: Shall we cry, instead of unto Allah, unto that which neither profiteth us nor hurteth us, and shall we turn back
after Allah hath guided us, like one bewildered whom the devils have infatuated in the earth, who hath companions who
invite him to the guidance (saying): Come unto us? Say: Lo! the guidance of Allah is Guidance, and we are ordered to
surrender to the Lord of the Worlds,
72. And to establish worship and ward off (evil), and He it is unto Whom ye will be gathered.
73. He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in truth. In that day when He saith: Be! it is. His word is the truth,
and His will be the Sovereignty on the day when the trumpet is blown. Knower of the invisible and the visible, He is
the Wise, the Aware.
74. (Remember) when Abraham said unto his father Azar: Takest thou idols for gods? Lo! I see thee and thy folk in
error manifest.
75. Thus did We show Abraham the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he mighty be of those possessing
certainty:
76. When the night grew dark upon him he beheld a star. He said: This is my Lord. But when it set, he said: I love not
things that set
77. And when he saw the moon uprising, he exclaimed: This my Lord. But when it set, he said: Unless my Lord guide
me, I surely shall become one of the folk who are astray.
78. And when he saw the sun uprising, he cried: This is my Lord! This is greater! And when it, set be exclaimed: O my
people! Lo! I am free from all that ye associate (with Him).
79. Lo! I have turned my face toward him Who created the heavens and the earth, as one by nature upright, and I am not
of the idolaters.

////////////////////////

1. Glorified be He Who carried His servant by night from the Inviolable Place of Worship to the Far Distant Place of
Worship the neighbourhood whereof We have blessed, that We might show him of Our tokens! Lo! He, only He, is
the Nearer, the Seer.
2. We gave unto Moses the Scripture, and We appointed it a guidance for the Children of Israel, saying: Choose no
guardian beside Me.
3. (They were) the seed of those whom We carried (in the ship) along with Noah. Lo! he was a grateful slave.

///////////////////////////

70. Verily We have honoured the children of Adam. We carry them on the land and the sea, and have made provision
of good things for them, and have preferred them above many of those whom We created with a marked preferment.
71. On the day when We shall summon ill men with their record, whoso is given his book in his right hand such will
read their book and they will not be wronged a shred.
72. Whoso is blind here wilt be blind in the Hereafter, and yet further from the road.
73. And they indeed strove hard to beguile thee (Muhammad) away from that wherewith We have inspired thee, that
thou shouldst invent other than it against Us; and then would they have accepted thee as a friend.
74. And if We had not made thee wholly firm thou mightest almost have inclined unto them a little.
75. Then had We made thee taste a double (punishment) of living and a double (punishment) of dying, then hadst thou
found no helper against Us.

In Islam, if a 6 or 7 year old girl is raped by an adult man, she will be the one that gets punished. It is her fault because she provoked it. The parents then will burn or kill her because she has dishonored the family.

According to the Islamic Laws, I am supposed to be seen outside of my home three times in my life. When I am born, when I get married and when I die.
Koran says that "Men your wives are your tillage. Go into your tillage anyway you want". This means that a man is allowed to sodomise his wife and she cannot complain.

partly what moms do, I understand. But every conversation doesn't need to end in, "People are so crazy. Oh the world is just so bad. Oh, God. It's just terrible."

Fear, to me, is like a disease - unhealthy and contagious. Do you agree? A certain amt of it may be OK and even prudent. But how much is too much and how do you address people like this in a Christian way?

Please answer all parts of my question, if you can.

1. Have you ever received an Answers violation?
2. How many?
3. For what reason?

Have any of you ever received an Administrative Notice from Yahoo! Answers?

1. Yes
2. Probably 40- 50. One day I received 17.
3. Usually for chatting, or "Not a question or answer."

I have actually bypassed the Violation Notice and gone straight to Administrative Notice. Must have been a serious offense that time.

Grand prize.....How many of you think this question will be deleted?

Why is it that the average Christian treats anyone that actually analyzes GOD, the Bible, Jesus, or the Biblical religions (instead of just blindly following) like the lowest form of life?

I just asked a question that (to paraphrase) simply asks if people that claim to be Christians would still want to be if it weren't for that pound of candy that all those Preachers promise them and some Jackass tells me that the Devil must be talking through me.

The point of that question was to show that many people that claim to be Christian are only Christians because they expect some kind of compensation for it. With a question like this, it is irrelevant whether or not those rewards actually exist. All that matters is "Are you doing what GOD asked of you because it's the right thing to do, or because you expect to get paid for it?". If you claim to be a Christian, but you wouldn't be one if you didn't get a fat check for it would mean you're not a Christian.

Where's the Devil in that?

Im sorry GENTILES(yes if some of you actually knew what that term meant to "New Covenant Christians" you wouldnt get so hot under the collar about that.) , but you dont tell me what my faith is all about. You dont even claim to know my God so how can you tell me what Christ means and doesnt mean. "Satan is always trying to preach to Jesus." Matthew Chap 4 1-11 Satan's poor attempt at preaching the gospel to Christ is located there. You gentiles dont preach to me your carnal logic to my Holy Scriptures.
