stuck my middle finger towards the sky and told him "thanks for nothing"

When getting up, I told God Thank you, for letting me have a good nights rest. Then I took two sweet little needy children to the Dairy Queen, for 12 Dilly Bars. They could take it to their home, for the other six children. There are eight in the family of children. Then I gave their needy Father $20.00, so he could purchase food for his family. I helped an invalid, put on his socks. I cleaned up my messy house and looking at the Photo of Christ, I humbly, gave Thanks Unto Him. IT ISN'T WHAT I HAVE DONE FOR GOD, IT IS WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR ME !

Today I cooked breakfast for Sri Sri Gaura-Nitai Deities, I chanted 27,648 holy names of the Lord and then I distributed sacred food and books about devotional service to the Lord to people while collecting donations for feeding poor people with sacred food. I also tried to remember Him with love.

Of course, He does not need anything from me or from anybody. But if I try to serve Him with love, I can gradually advance in spiritual life. I can just go on with my service and hope He will be pleased with me.

Nothing. What have the religious people done for me, today? Silence and charity would be a nice start.

What could God possibly want me to do for him? He's all-powerful, after all. He can do anything he wants.
