Innit "the meek shall inherit the earth"? Who are the meek in todays soviety? Cause at the rate we are destroying the planet this inheritance is only a fews generations away i reckon. Or less if they let the 'push the button' idiots loose first.

"who are the meek?" I think we ALL are in some way or another. I think that statement could mean that once we all learn that we should humble ourselves then we all would inherit the earth. The earth belongs to the everyone and those who understand that right now are the "meek", because the majority feel it all belongs to them, their people, their nation. Once we all come to a consensus that we are all the same, we all should inherit the earth. Not a religious view, just a view.

In Psalms 37:11 says the meek shall inherit the Earth. The "meek ones" are people who worship the only true God. And practice the values and principles that are taught in the Bible. Whereas the wicked ones are people who imitate the spirit of the Earth and also who do bad things that the Bible condemns.

The Bible's concept of "meek", are the teachable ones who respect and love God's word and ways.
Those who will open their hearts and minds to the truth found in the bible.
Those who will willingly help others in need both financially, and with their hearts and hands.
Reaching out to the poor and the frightened.
The glib and arrogant are not meek.
They will be destroyed and will leave the earth a peaceful place.

A meek person knows who they are, and who they aren't. They're aware of their limitations and needs. They treat others as worthy human beings. They recognize that rights imply obligations and responsibilities. And that my freedoms stop where others' begin.
