LmAo....I can't stop laughing......we have some funny people on yahoo today.
Why is everyone taking these questions as if it were my child??? Purely hypothetical now.....but a ridiculously true story a while ago.

I think anybody that has kids, unless they are unbalanced by an irrational faith, would maybe ask a few more questions of their child while getting ready to go to the doctor's office/hospital. This question doesn't sound like an emergency sort of thing, but painful breathing is not a symptom to be taken lightly. If little Billy was playing "nuke the sibling" and got jumped on by his younger brother Tommy, he probably has a cracked rib...x-rays. If little billy wheezes and has trouble speaking that he has pain while breathing it would be hospital.

Very few religions mandate that there should only be "natural" or "faith" healing. A few do object to vigious intervention by modern medicine but even these allow doctors.

God/gods are to heal the spirit...a busted leg needs to be set by a pro.

Take him to the hospital and pray that God would help the doctors "fix" him.

Take that child to a doctor now!!!! It could be serious! Pay particular attention to their chest motions, look for purple (discoloration) in the lips and fingernail beds. This can be a sign of a lack of oxygen. You don't want that child to have an asthma attack and die or have a serious case of bronchitis or pneumonia!

Well, God says he can heal, but I don't think it is bad to get a doctors opion. I'd take him/her to the hospital, if they diagnos him/her with somthing, then pray for God to heal him/her.

I'd wonder why my child is referring to me as "mommy" and then I'd take em to the hospital. Praying doesn't do anything.

check for a cracked rib

or pray and go to hospital if persisted

by the time we got there we would know if it was nothing or it was something but there is a doc in place, some say thanks to god but we have things for us already, not much need for prayer save to hear yourself and speak so others can hear your soul
