Well Jesus Christ, this "Jew" gone radically paradoxical, says that you can 'do unto him", by doing unto "the least of his'....so what would you classify as "the least of his"...?

The average age of the world's great civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence:

from bondage to spiritual faith;
from spiritual faith to great courage;
from courage to liberty;
from liberty to abundance;
from abundance to selfishness;
from selfishness to complacency;
from complacency to apathy;
from apathy to dependency;
from dependency back again to bondage.”
-- Sir Alex Fraser Tytler (1742-1813) Scottish jurist and historian

Where in this process is the United States today?

You see, here it starts. Your words say that Islam is peaceful, but the actions show that it is not. This is why I say that the world believes that Islam is violent.. I know that there are exceptions, but how can you (muslims) ever be accepted as peaceful if you are associated with this type of actions.. ?? Isn't there something that the peaceful ones can do or can they change to another branch of Islam and be seperate??? Comments please on how to solve this ??

In West Bank attacks on four churches, Palestinians used guns, firebombs and lighter fluid, leaving church doors charred and walls scorched by flames and pocked with bullet holes. Nobody was reported injured. Two Catholic churches, an Anglican one and a Greek Orthodox one were hit. A Greek Orthodox church was also attacked in Gaza City.

A group calling itself "Lions of Monotheism" told The Associated Press by phone that the attacks were a protest of the pope's remarks on Islam.

If you've seen some of my other questions you may have noticed I have been doing some soul searching in regards to religion. My father is athiest and my mother christian, so I have heard both views as a child into adulthood. I was given the option to choose my own path in life. I am swinging toward atheism because it seems to make more sense to me, but from the fear of God which my mother has taught, it's like I fear MY decision? Has anyone every felt this way. We as people can be influenced even when others aren't really trying to influence. I don't know if I want to call it brainwashing, but it kind of is.

The out workings of the Spirit of Gods Son and mans saviour Jesus Christ, -Ye through all His energies that leave His spirit, there is not one "other spirit," EVER, that tell's a man to take another humans life, nor his own, nei not one !! That spirit dose not exist in Christ This,-one of the endless blessings of God's Son, in which my faith rests.
God has called, His Christ has come, and many of us have believed allready, and l, like you,am a normal human bieng. Take heart, the corner stone is in place for us all, for all who seek, salvation is here, "For You and Me", "Ha Raa" !

Quran 8.12 "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

How do you read this, in any possible context, and think "yea, this sounds like God"?

What a poor choice of words to combine, by the Bush administration. It's a contradiction in principals of both. It shows ignorance in separating the political from the religious practices.

My daughter is thinking, seriously, about becoming a born again Christian. I am agnostic and there for cannot advise her. She is almost 17, also she knows some, I don't know how well: ex BACs who have warned her against this sect, because within it's ranks are some rather unsavoury characters, they are forever quoting the New Testament and Jesus' name is used in every thing they say and they leave no room for open mindness.

Can you help her? Peace to you all.

If science could prove natural creation they would. However they cannot, and it is likely that natural creation will be shown to be a false hypothesis. Then what?

Dictionary.com - Religion "the body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs and practices" http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=religion

Liberalism (derivative of Marxism) is simple a "body of persons adhering to a particular set of beliefs." In short, they believe in a facist application of 'egalitarianism'.

The great irony in comparing Leftists and Islamists, is that they both represent the polar opposite ends of the political spectrum yet produce socities that look the same and are equally primitive. Does Cuba look much different than any other Islamic country? Cuba is of course the highest example of leftist culture. Even moderate liberals constantly make comparisons to the Cuba standard as being the ideal.

No doubt, at this moment, Castro wishes he had western medicine and western technology. Unfortunately its an "either or" choice.

Muhammadism and Marxism stops human progress. Both are so different and yet yield the same misery index. Pick your poison

" there was a war, that burned the very sky, those of light, wind and fire fought, upon the ground and in the air up high–

now I sit silent among the shadows watching you drift past, my eyes wandering over your rushing form,

I will rise from the darkness intent on revenge and pain, hunting you, stalking you, taking you to be for me. "

why we are suppose to believe that you are a people of peace when; if someone says anything against muhammed then he is suppose to be killed? OR the fact that all are infidels unless they are some form of islam? and then your quran says to kill the infidels in so many words? Or I also wonder why people say that you worship the God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob? when the research shows that the term for allah comes out of the ancient babylonian empire? just some questions that I had about the whole "peace" thing????

1. No , they are not supposed to be killed but this is disrespect and noone should insult any holy figure of any religion and respect them. Otherwise, he or she is a disrespectful person and chooses to be so.

2. I've said it once and I'll say it a thousand times:ISLAM DOES NOT FORCE YOU TO BECOME MUSLIM!! YOU BECOME MUSLIM BY CHANGE OF MIND AND HEART...
The quran says nothing of that sort please read the real quran...

3. Yes the God of these prophets is God of all..
