I am so close to officially declaring myself a Christian Anarchist, jim. Some of the fundies scare me more than anything, because they have no idea what it is to really love their fellow men(and women), and they're NOT under surveilance.....

What is the difference between an informed Christian and a neo-conservative Christian? I consider myself to be in many respect a conservative, and also a Christian. How ever I am not going to come knocking at your door trying to shove a Bible down your throat. We both know that is not being Christian anyway.
First the terrorist is going to kill if you choose not to convert and that is what Islam teaches.
By the model of what Jesus taught, if those who claimed it truly lived it, would put others before themselves. Here is where the clear choice really is. If you look at what Jesus taught it sounds simple. When asked what was the greatest commandment Jesus said, "Love God with all your heart, all are soul and all your might. Second to that s to Love your neighbor as yourself. One word some out clear, Love. Putting others before yourself, having compassion for others, becoming selfless instead of selfish. How hard it that? Very!
If it is a question of Love over hate, then I look at the teachings and that is what I want to draw to. But you know as well as I do that many who call themselves Christians don't have full knowledge of what they claim. They get caught up in the fervor of others and are easily lead to do things that are not what they claim to believe.
Still it is a choice between life and death, and given the choice I can deal with Neo-conservative Christians a lot better.

I may not agree with everything that Fundamentalists say or do, but one thing they do NOT do is fly planes into buildings and blow themselves up in shopping malls, and this sort of thing. There's no question.

Obviously this question is aimed at atheists. They will of course say the conservitives since they are probably liberal.
But let me see, AK-47s or bibles? Getting shot or reading a book. I'll take the bibles.

noe-conservative christian republicans knocking on my door with their bibles!!! I've had it happen, in pensacola the christian schools require that they do that in order to graduate, they also yell at you about how your going to hell and your a bad bad person. I would reather hang out with al qaida, they believe that god makes them do stuff and it's all good, cause even if they kill up folks they are going to go to heaven. hehehe just kiddin i dont want to hang out with either but I would chools al qaida if i had to!

niether. i do not live an an area that al quida would ahve any reason to attack. and people knocking on my door are always invited in,,,most refuse due to the fact that i am a nudist.
