Following is sneak preview of your Bible.
Deuteronomy
War against Sihon king of Heshbon.
2.31 And the LORD said unto me, `Behold, I have begun to give Sihon and his land over to thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.'
2.32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, to fight at Jahaz.
2.33 And the LORD our God delivered him before us; and we smote him, and his sons and all his people.
2.34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed the men and the women and the little ones of every city; we left none to remain.
2.35 Only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, and the spoil of the cities which we took.
War against Og the king of Bashan.
3.1 "Then we turned and went up the way to Bashan; and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei.
3.2 And the LORD said unto me, `Fear him not; for I will deliver him and all his people and his land into thy hand, and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, who dwelt at Heshbon.'
3.3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people; and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.
3.4 And we took all his cities at that time; there was not a city which we took not from them: threescore cities, all the region of Argob, the kingdom of Og in Bashan.
3.5 All these cities were fortified with high walls, gates, and bars, besides unwalled towns a great many.
3.6 And we utterly destroyed them, as we did unto Sihon king of Heshbon, utterly destroying the men, women, and children of every city.
3.7 But all the cattle and the spoil of the cities we took for a prey to ourselves.
I can prove that Qur'an laws are much better than the Laws of Old Testament and New Testaments because I have the knowledge about all these books. So stop posting stupid questions.

To understand the context you must know that only 313 bare footed Muslims were to defend themselves using sticks and few swords against 1000 fully armed infidels with bowmen and cheerleader women to give them firmness.
Start reading from 8:9 which says
Remember ye implored the assistance of your Lord, and He answered you: "I will assist you with a thousand of the angels, ranks on ranks."
8:12 is not an order to Muslims, but basically it was an order to the angels. The verse goes like this
Remember thy Lord inspired the angels (with the message): "I am with you: give firmness to the Believers: I will cast terror into the hearts of the Unbelievers: smite ye above their necks and smite all their finger-tips off them."
So even though Unbelievers were large in number and equipped with arms and bowmen, they were inside very much terrified (on because God cast terror into their hearts). And during fight Unbelievers were feeling strikes on their necks and their tows, whereas they were not physical strikes.
Please people open your mind... You will find a very beautiful teaching if you read Quran, and your love with God will increase.

Ignorance is the origin of all evil. Now you posted these verses but do you know when, why, and to whom they were talking? The answer is simply no, and that is because your aim is just to bash Islam and not to learn and spread the true knowledge and good intentions.
These verses were revealed to Mohammad PBUH in the middle of the first battle of Islam "Badr" when the small, poorly armed Muslim army "only 314 fighter" were fighting against significantly larger and very well equipped army. Allah promised Muslims victory before fighting started and He send angles to fight with Muslims and these verses are directed from Allah to the angles not to the Muslim fighters. This was the only battle in Islam that the angles truly fought with Muslims.
This battle was one of the most important events in the history of Islam because if Muslims were to be defeated that was going to be the end of Islam. What you expected war to be, however it was nothing to compare to what Bush is doing in the Muslim world today at this Link:

Now just open your heart and mind and read how prophet Mohammad treated non Muslims when he had the upper hand and compare to what Bush is doing at this link:

it really is plausible because from my opinion without looking from a non secular aspect of view, non secular texts were exceeded down in generations and would have had more beneficial meanings in view that then, or earlier. From a catholic aspect of view, the Bible is reminiscent with such undesirable activities, that a number of them were no longer even revealed interior the international huge reproduction we see today. I discovered this from the e book, Misquoting Jesus, or something Like that. It change into featured interior the Colbert record some weeks in the past.

perhaps from people stealing from you oppressing you taking unprovoked aggressive acts in your country. I know that the media is deliberately not telling you everything but the info is out there. If you are going to point fingers without checking the facts then perhaps cutting off that finger is not such a bad idea. Just ask yourself why are these people so ticked and then research it. Governments for eternity have used religion to stir people up to fight one another. The actual cause has not been beliefs but greed. Letting merchants and bankers run our country is pretty stupid. Be reasonable kill a lobbyist.

Surah 8's title is "Spoils Of War" and it is talking about war. Do not take the verses out of it's context, it's not applicable outside the war.
Tell me what do you do in war? Will you serve tea to your enemy? Of course, you will strike their necks, otherwise they will strike your neck first.

Nothing near the "Turn the other cheek".
Sorry, it doesn't sound like a peace loving religion to me.
