Seriously. Whenever I've read a response to a stupid question that made me laugh out loud, or a retort to someone else's answer, or even a question, the poster's alwalys been an atheist/agnostic.
And it's not that I'm biased, Christians just don't seem to put the effort into being funny. I mean it'd be in their best intrest right? What's the saying 'Once you've got them laughing you're halfway there'? Of course I think that statement was meant to apply to seducing women, but the principle's the same.
For all of you people who don't like reading:

Christians take themselves way too seriously. The first step in being funny is learning to laugh at yourself, and no Christian would ever do that because GOD IS SERIOUS BUSINESS, GUYS.

Because we have 1000's of avenues to come at you with witty retorts, and we don't take things as seriously as Christians do.
Christian wit is tries too hard to put a God slant on everything and often comes off as sounding sophomoric at best.

Well, not trying to offend anyone, I think it's because atheists and agnostics tend to be smarter. Most of the world's great comedians are very intelligent people, and quoting the bible doesn't take a lot of brain power.

They can't be funny when they are spending all of their time trying to convince agnostics/ atheists that god IS real... and getting upset over all the "God is not real" answers. They (and I use this term loosely, as in, a few) are too uptight and close-minded when it comes to beliefs other than their own.

Bcause we are smarter then the average bear :) As for the religious,you need to go easy on them.It's a hard job to be so self- righteous and funny too.

Most of us do have a sense of humor, but I usually try to answer a question seriously, no matter how asinine the question. Of course that's also part of my twisted sense of humor. I really enjoy messing with peoples' minds.

theists tend to think that atheists are all "sad"
the reality is, authentic living means oh smack stuff is going wrong and we need to figure out solutions
their side "prays" gets a solution and says "gods will"
