Obviously, I do not believe that there is a God. Just wondering what excuses pro-life believers can conjure up for this question. Don't bother answering if all you can come up with is "God works in mysterious ways."

So that there will be no accepting slavery, kiiling of children, raping women?

Rape:
"Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing. But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go." (Judges 19:24-25)

Killing children:
"Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones." (Psalms 137:9, KJV)

"And if the servant shall plainly say, I love my master, my wife, and my children; I will not go out free: Then his master shall bring him unto the judges; he shall also bring him to the door, or unto the door post; and his master shall bore his ear through with an aul; and he shall serve him for ever." (Exodus 21:5-6)

I'm not trying to bring any one down, just trying to have some fun and share knowledge with all that call upon the name of Jesus Christ and God Almighty with Love and Respect.

The Question is:
How does a person know when he/she has recieved Salvation from God? In other words.......... what is one clue that will tell you if a person has (God given) Salvation? The answer is in the bible.

Although the answer is somewhat simple but some may have to dig deep to find it. Please give a simple (as possible) answer which includes tracable scripture..... The first right answer will get the points.
And PLEASE.... no website addresses as I won't click on it and no two page, over kill explanation's.....lol. It's like shooting at a mosquito with a canon...lol. And if you post a joke, make sure it's funny or someone might take offense and report you.

May God bless all my brothers and sisters in Christ and I wish all others no ill will. I hope this brings some intellectual fun.

I was raised baptist and tried to be a christian. When my husband and i were married we had very similar beleifs. He was evangelical. Well a little into our marriage he decided that 7th day adventist were better christians and were more obedient to God. So we started going there over time I started thinking that he was right. then one day he said he thought they were wrong because of Ellen white. He knew of her before that, though. So he got frusturated so we quit going to church. Now we don't go to church cause no church beleives all the things he thinks our right. Like sabbath is on saturday ,hell isn't forever, but no church ,also doesen't beleive in a extra prophet like Ellen white or Joseph smith. What should we do? Im now very confused.

christians claim that people go to heaven or hell after they died.
If human beings were given free will, why can't we choose Not to go anywhere after death?

by we i mean people of different faiths or nonbeleivers.

im just curious, what do we need to be saved from? is it hell?

if it is hell...then let me get this strait. god creates hell, then god says that were all going....and the only way not to go is to beleive in god....grovel....and appease him. then god send his son to "save" us....for.....what reason? to wip away the sins that he allows to exist?

then we get to satan. god, who is omniscient (knows all) crates satan in full knowledge that satan will turn evil. god chooses to create him anyways and satan eventually turns (as god knew he would) THEN god allows satan to get people to do evil things and go to hell...

and you want people to beleive this? what do we need to be saved from again? it seems the answer is "GOD" we need to be saved from god.

Why was the "God" guy lonely again?

Mysterious ways, perhaps?

God is perfect.
God deliberately created the universe
Perfection entails the lack of needs or wants
Being perfect, God does not now nor ever has nor ever will have any needs or wants.
Deliberate creation entails an effort to satisfy some need or want.
Being a creator, God at one time had some need or want. It is impossible to have some need or want and also to never have any need or want.
Conclusion: God, if it exists, is either not perfect or has not created anything.
If God is perfect, then God can’t have any needs or wants; hence, God wouldn’t bother

I mean, why would God make thousands of religons when he could have made one, to make it easier on us. My answer, is that He did make only one. Romans 16:16,"Salute one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you." In Matthew 16:18, Christ said,"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail aginst it." Now, prove your point.

I heard, from more than one person, that supposedly when the whole world has the same currency, the antichrist has risen and will take over.

also, the mark of the beast supposedly wont be on the forehead as said before, but will supposedly be a small chip inplanted into the skin of humans to serve as a kind of "credit card", the chip will like a 666-like mark on the skin. marking you as a follower of the antichrist and condemming you to hell.

The ultimate aim of satan is to destroy every human being. John 10 v 10. He wants us to follow a path that leads to destruction. To that end He tries to prevent anyone coming to faith in Jesus Christ. The Bible says 'The god of this age (the devil) has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the Gospel. 2 Corinthians 4 v 4. I am asking if you unbelievers know this?
