I need to know, the relationship of tithing,offering,planting a seed and giving towards church projects.Which ones are mandatory and conform with the bible.Please,when answering,give examples and enough details.Does one have to give tithe to a church or can give to the poor or the needy .What I mean is do I confine my tithe offering to the church I frequent or give to needy places?

how could a serpent talk and shrewd enough to lure the couple who have larger brains, whereas I know it can only hiss and crawl in to safety to avoid contacts of bigger threat? What I know when devil strikes, it possessess a human body not any animal and make it talk like human.

A God who walked and talked among men, not through a medium but God per se( kinda hard to digest). Did not God use prophets and finally Jesus in the New Testament to communicate?

A tree that can not do more than provide woods, foods and medicine now the bearer of knowledge and another one for life?

Can you claim these thing occured literally when in our modern era none of these phenomena ever repeated?

my dad got took into hospital 2 weeks ago after collapsing in the house. last week i got told hes not going to make it and got told dont know how long he has. my family are blamingmy mum for not looking after him properly. hes 72. shes73. worried about my dad obviously n scared. never had someone close die b4. but worried bout my mum too as she doesnt know about bills and things and my family arent gonna be there for her and i live far away. confused and upset

if you saw someone driving carelessly and hitting people and other cars, would u blame the car, or the driver? this question struck me..coz if u would blame the driver, then similarly, if someone belongs to a certain religion and they have awful manners..would u say that this person behaves badly because he belongs to this religion? or because he is the one who's ill-mannered? does this make any sense? i'd like your thoughts please, thanx :)

God cant be all powerful and all merciful at the same time.if he is all powerful and choses not to end evil then he cant be merciful.
if he is all merciful that means he cant be all powerful because he has no power to end evil
as a christian i believe in a god who is all merciful but who is weak just like me. this god becomes real to me, because he is the god whom jesus believed in as well.

We have started a Youth Group at Church. There is a whole variety of kids from the ages of 13 up. Some of them live on the street, others live in shelters and others come from mainstream families. A lot of these kids smoke. What should our policy be about smoking. Some of the kids have huge issues in their life such as AIDS, abuse, pregnancy etc. As the Youth facilitators we've always felt that we should accept whoever comes to the group seeking Christ and then He will convict them of what He wants changed in their lives. We don't want kids in need to stay away because they cannot smoke on the premises. On the other hand how is this policy affecting the non-smoking kids? None of the kids are allowed to smoke inside. A smoking area has been designated away from the hall.

Is this what the religionist's who were against advancing medical research had intended, or do they simply not think things through.
Instead of helping to save people suffering from Parkinson's disease & motor-neurone disease they will simply be trashed and slung in the medical waste bin.
