Wow I really feel God is working in you ....

tithing is for the church, it is a duty for and to all christians, the tithe should be used only in a context of furthering God's kingdom on earth, meaning throuhg a christian church/organisation.

There is nothing wrong with waiting and making sure you give to the right organisation which is not self serving.

Your offerings over and above your tithe are from your own heart and spirit, no rules apply, just the love you feel

planting a seed really means spreading the word and saving others, winning hearts minds and souls for Jesus, that is THE MOST IMPORTANT part of ministry,

imagine, you have friends and family and they might not be able to join you in heaven one day becuase they did not hear the word or did not have a chance to be saved .....

the bible tells us about different abilities and gifts for different people to minister,

pray and listen and he will show you what your personal gift is,

an apostle, healer, teacher ...
God Bless you

The only one of those things you said required by the bible is Tithing. Tithe is stated in the bible to be 10% of your income. Hence if you are earning $100 000 a year, you would give $10 000. Offering's are also mentioned in the bible but are called 'free will offerings' and are not required anymore. Giving towards church projects is a modern idea and should be treated like you would any other charity. And im not really sure what you mean by seed planting, in relation to a church.

As tithing goes, most people do donate it too a church, but the original principle was for it to be 'returned to God' so i reality you can give it too what ever or who ever you feel could use it appropriatly for God's work. I hope this helps

You should tithe to a church that teaches you the word chapter by chapter, verse by verse. A church that feeds you the word of God. You should tithe only what you take home. Don't tithe money that you use for food or to pay your bills. your tithing comes after all your payments. Also, If you don't have any money left over, you can give a love offering, something small.
Planting seed means to plant the truth of God's word on someone., you can not be pushy. This is what planting is; teaching the word of God. You have to learn the word first. If your church feeds you the word of God, where you are full. I say support that church's projects. Everything with common sense.

This is a great church.
You will be full...

Tithing is a commandment, the rest are just charity campaigns.

Heb. 7: 5-6, 8-9
Lev. 27: 30-32
Deut. 14: 22-23, 28
2 Chr. 31: 5-6, 12
Mal. 3: 8, 10

Pay your tithing to one who is appointed by God (make sure that they are not self-appointed). They will ensure that the money is used for the building of God's kingdom here on earth and that the poor and needy do not go hungry.
