And how should I categorize this question?

I wonder what else are they talking about among themselves aside from bugging Christians?

What are atheists going to ask in the "atheist" category? "religion and spirituality" is not like some club that only religious people can be in. Atheists who want to ask questions on religion are entitled to post their questions here too, as long as it's not crap.

The clashes are important and atheists will still come here because we can all comment or ask questions about religion & spirituality even those of us who don't value it or do not think there is any truth or reality in either.

There seem to be many religious people totally unprepared to defend their beliefs honestly and would rather just get rid of dissenting voices, they don't play fair and they want to exclude others as is their ususal way, you are one of these people.

You guys like to dish it out but you just can't take it in return...

Well Yahoo! didnt know that this wud happen. Just like we have customer care for mails there has to be customer care for Yahoo Q&A. Try forum or blog.

If u r seriously goinna put the request for this then do this way. Frst of all start collecting serious spirituality based questions that has stupid answers of atheists. Send those links to make them realise the need and request them this.

We need few (sub) categories:
Religion.
Spirituality.
Atheists.
And lastsly
Spirituality V/S Atheism.

So every one wud be having what they want in decent way.

Religious discussion is fun and I don't think separation is wise. Atheism is technically a religion, because it pertains to one's beliefs about god (i.e. it doesn't exist) so it still belongs in religion. To have an atheist category would be preferential treatment, and thus, not cool.

Why do you want the groups to avoid each other? The only way for us to understand each others beliefs is too interact. Only the ignorant refuse to understand other people and their ideas, beliefs, and cultures. Just ignore the other Atheists who bash religions and those who follow them. Not all of us are that way.

I smell a whiff of paranoia in this question. But if god is in charge, then surely that's unwarranted?

And I doubt that the best programmer Yahoo! could hire would be good enough to keep anybody from going anywhere s/he wants.

Do you think that is really going to stop all this? Come on! Christians are still going to go to the Atheist site and bug them and Atheists will still go over to this section and bug Christians.

It is important that we interact with people of different religions. It helps us to clarify our beliefs and look for answers which helps us to grow spiritually and as people. The only problem I have is when you get people who treat other peoples belief with disrespect and even aggression. You do also get the odd occasion when someone is genuinely searching even though their question is aggressive and hostile.

Sorry my friend, but one reason to having "answers" is to get input from everyone. I'll tell you the same thing I told a priest when I was 8, and he complained about nothing on the radio being "christian". Turn it off and ignore it if you don't like it.

Why not join the religion category with mythology and folklore. Then we'll be a bigger group.

After all, religion is mythology which people still believe in.
