First, tell me if you believe in ghosts. Then state if you ever think you've seen one and briefly share your experience. Thanks...this is just out of personal curiousity after listening to my coworker rant about all the ghosts that have haunted her family and friends.

The title was not meant to offend, I just thought it was clever. Anyways, I saw this on webjunk 2.0. It's entitled Bananas. Someone please tell me if this guy was making fun or if he really thought his point was well thought out. Watch Kirk Cameron's face and tell me that he didn't find the guys description of God's banana just a little amusing.

be honest and real future tellers...I dont get that one bit. I want my future in God's hands but i want a piece of it, i dont want my life to be like a recorded event, I want it to be like a live event where anything can happen no holds bar, i dont want my life played out by anybody i want my decisions to affect me and so on.

Lets see, about half of the yahoo answers, have to do with pregnancy and when they were last ovulating, the other half is athiests that ask, why we read the bible, why we enjoy worshipping something that doesn't exist, why we do what we do as Christians. My question, is WHO CARES? WHY do you care who I worship, and if my judgement on something is irrelevant? I believe in what I want to believe in, do you think asking questions as to why Christians read a book that was written years ago, proves that there's a God, is going to somehow gravitate me to your way of believing. Or asking why do we pray, cause no one answers prayers, no.. nothing is going to change a Christians point of view. Let us believe in what we want to believe in and leave us alone.
Why is it, that you atheists, question everything that Christians do, you question our faith, our god, our bible... If you dont' believe in any of it, why do you care? Let it die. Let it go.

1. Was not Christrianity founded on Christ?

Why does your God make Hell so extreme, instead of individual punishment for everyone it has to be infinite for all those unlucky.

Newtonian physics? Determinism? Reductionism? Any of these thing make sense to you? I don't believe in free will, I believe we are not intelligent enough to understand certain complexities and predict the outcome of events, when in fact the outcomes will come about in a very specific way following the basic laws of nature. So some born will supposingly go to hell, whether they want to or not, and some go to heaven.

So explain how the free will thing works and explain why the concept of heaven and hell are so extreme. I already have my explanations lets see if anyone can match up.

I would appreciate any serious posts you have.

My earlier question was: "Who 'owned' Palestine before the Muslims? And why shouldn't that matter?
I received some great informed answers from other groups, but not one Muslim.
Muslims use ancient history frequently to establish authenticity. Why not in this case?
