I believe Da Vinci Code is full of lies, alot of the arguments are made up to make conservative Christians look dumb and to convince people to the lie.

I think it is true for the simple reason that I have studied the arts for years, and I understand that there is a lot of hogwash involved in it but remember this, rather keep an open mind to all the knowledge out there and test it, research it and learn from it.
Da Vinci was a wise man, and with my studies, the movie is not even close to the truth but alot of key elements were mentioned in the story.
yeah, but that is my opinion, This is what I think....
Hope I did not offend anyone as I only answer from my direct point of veiw as this movie and story involves religion.
Kind Regards

I've heard the argument that The Da Vinci Code is listed under fiction, but there are many people who don't check their facts or know their history and buy into the ideas presented in the book.

You may not realize this but the Da Vinci Code is a piece of fiction. It is based on some real people, places and events but is essentially a made up story. Who cares whether its accurate or not, its exciting.
Harry Potter is the same, some real places like Kings Cross station and some made up stuff like magic.

Typically, I think anything that doesn't support my baseless religious beliefs is totally "WACK". It all comes down to what I want to believe. What the actual truth may be doesn't mean a thing. So it's just wack. Yeah. I agree with you 100%!!!
And a lot of other posters make a great point. It is just a book. It doesn't mean a thing. Unlike the Bible, which is .........a.......well, the bible is also just a book. But it's the one I like to believe. So all the other books are WACK!!!!

IT IS A WORK OF FICTION. Do people not know what FICTION is? It means a story, which is NOT TRUE! Dan Brown may believe that stuff as true, but he did not write it as if it was. He wrote it as a story. Peope need to stop complaining about this book and saying it is fake, as if it was supposed to be real in the first place.

Of course it's a load of wack. Most things that are shelved in fiction are, after all. Now unfortunately it is also a plagiarised load of wack.

It is, but that's why it's in the Fiction section. Dan Brown never said it was real. He actually said he was selling a load of crap. He actually put it more elloquently but that's what it amounted too. It's not meant to be taken literally.

It is a book! Do you believe that everything in Harry Potter is true? Or Dr. Seuss books? No? Then why take this one seriously? I am not a Christian but I know when something is labeled as fiction, it isn't true!!!

holy crap people. ITS FICTION. IT WAS SOLD AS FICTION.
you don't have to defend your beliefs because of this book.
every fiction book is "a load of wack" if you want to get down to it. they are meant to entertain and make you think...not to get all worked up...

Does it bother you because it makes you think?
It's a work of FICTION, like that other famous book, the Bible.
But the whole point is that it attempts to make you think. But being the thumper that you are, you can't right?
