almost each and every Christian i have met has been aggressive. by using Christian you should keep in mind that someone who says they're Christian, yet tolerates different human beings's ideals isn't a real Christian. they're no longer following the bible in the adventure that they are tolerant and they can't fairly be Christian in the adventure that they don't seem to be following the best deal of the Bible. you won't be able to %. and choose what you want to believe otherwise why are you following the religion. It would not make any experience. In my adventure, the purely Atheists i have considered get agressive purely do because the theist changed into aggresive first.

I'm an atheist and I've never had a problem with Christians (or any other religion, for that matter) forcing their views on me. In fact, most Christians I know are decent, respectful, people.
Now there are certainly more radical Christian sects (as any religion has) who take it upon themselves to "convert the masses" and who seem to think that all the world MUST believe as they do. This is a practice I think is wrong and violates the concept of freedom of religion, or lack of religion, as it were.
However, most mainstream religions persons (Christian and otherwise) aren't like that. They respect an individual's right to choose their beliefs, and I respect their rights in return.

Alot of the people you are talking about were either:
A: Raised around no one but Christians in a Christian household and were taught that anyone that does not believe in Him have been led astray and need to be ministered to.
B: They could never understand how someone could not believe in their own God, whom they live for and pray to every day.
C: Are frustrated because they want to bring you to Christ, and realize that you have your own beliefs and do not respect them.
I am Christian, and I don't force anyone into anything, and quite frankly I don't answer the door when Jehovah's Witness are knocking just because I myself don't want to be pressure into hearing why they are going to heaven and I am not.

I am Christian and I am not angry at you for not believing in God.
However by posting this you must have some remedial interest in spiritual endavor. Therefore you must not let the average person hold you back from what you want. Think for yourself, always look for new answers to questions. It sometimes helps to find the answers on your own by the way (as in not on yahoo answers) Never settle for less than the truth.

Speaking as a Christian, we give ourselves a bad name. We are taught to love everyone and tolerate other people's believes, even if we dont agree with them. We are taught to share our beliefs but not to cram them down people's throats.. but so many people dont listen to what they are taught and get this"Im right and your wrong" mentality and push it on everyone else.
Our only job is to tell everyone about Christ.. I'm assuming someone has already done that to you.. although obviously not nicely.. but then their job should have been done.
The mistake that is often made is that people are much more receptive to at least listening to what you have to say if you are nice and friendly.. and many people on here are not.

True Christians wouldn't jump down your throat. Some people are just nasty, aggressive and narrow-minded. If they happen to think that they're Christian, and therefore better than anyone else, it can be an ugly combination.

well, some do get violent about the subject, but some, and I do mean a very few are aggresive about getting people to believe in HIM, because they know that if that person dies without HIM, they go to Hell. I'm pretty aggresive sometimes myself, but not to the point of violence.
