I'm not trying to bring any one down, just trying to have some fun and share knowledge with all that call upon the name of Jesus Christ and God Almighty with Love and Respect.

The Question is:
How does a person know when he/she has recieved Salvation from God? In other words.......... what is one clue that will tell you if a person has (God given) Salvation? The answer is in the bible.

Although the answer is somewhat simple but some may have to dig deep to find it. Please give a simple (as possible) answer which includes tracable scripture..... The first right answer will get the points.
And PLEASE.... no website addresses as I won't click on it and no two page, over kill explanation's.....lol. It's like shooting at a mosquito with a canon...lol. And if you post a joke, make sure it's funny or someone might take offense and report you.

May God bless all my brothers and sisters in Christ and I wish all others no ill will. I hope this brings some intellectual fun.

I have the feeling that it would be when the Lord God tells you that you have received Salvation. Of course, to avoid confusion, I mean when you meet Him

We know by the fruits of the Spirit in our lives.

1. Obedience to the commands of Christ.

2. A desire to spend time with the Christian God.

3. A desire to read the Bible and to learn more about the Christian God.

4. Moving away from sin.

5. Not trying to rationalize or justify our sins.

6. Love, Joy, Peace, the comfort of the Holy Spirit.

7. Growth in humility, sincerity and perseverance in our relationship with God.

8. Being tested in our Faith (Trust in the Christian God) and growing in certitude (that the Christian God is real, and that he is in daily relationship with us).

Cordially,
John

I think the answers posted above are wonderful; it's so very hard to pick just one thing, but we must be objective. I've seen plenty of "false conversions," so I don't think it's simply saying the words. As scripture says at Gal. 6:7, "Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap."

I think we know objectively when we realize we've received a Spiritual Gift that did not exist within us before.

Ephesians 4:7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift. 8 Therefore He says:
“ When He ascended on high,
He led captivity captive,
And gave gifts to men.”

Love for your fellow human beings is a close second, but you seem to be asking for objective proof of a true Salvation experience and one doesn't have to be saved to love one's neighbor!

According to Eph 2:10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

It means that we are able to do good works acceptable to God after we find our salvation in Jesus Christ. We become the workmanship of God created through our faith in Jesus Christ and are now able to perform good works that were pre authorized by God a while ago as being acceptable by God.

In short, we can only please God after we find the salvation that is freely given by him.... and not before.

Peace be to all my Christian brothers and sisters.

Only God and the one saved knows the truth of Salvation. No one else can know.... there is no proof in mortal existance, that can tell you or any one else whether or not I am saved... I know I am... and I so state... because it is God's promist to me in The Truth of my Salvation... but I can not "prove it to you... nor can you disprove it... But God knows

...If you are refering to the evidence of works... that is not reliable...satan dose many great and seemingly good works... it dont mean he has regained his place in Heaven

If you are interested in what proof I received of my Salvation you may email me and i will give you a link to my testimony.

EASY...

"That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord" and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."- Romans 10:9

That is a promise.
it takes faith to believe in the promises of God, so...

"For it is by grace that you have been saved, through faith- and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works so that no one can boast."- Ephesians 2:8-9

Not by feelings, but faith because the truth is not always in alignments with feelings, for example...

you think your mom hates you because she makes you do chores, No, your mom loves you and she wants to develop your character and responsibility...

make Jesus your Lord by confessing to Him your sins, confess He is Lord and believe in Christ as your Savior- you will be saved....

"If we confess our sins He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrightiousness."- 1 John 1:9

See very simple....

1 Co 12:3

3Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit.

to me that says it all.
-accept the Spirit through faith, and salvation will be granted by grace.

Peter told them in Acts 2:38 , " Repent and be baptized for the remission of your sins and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."

By repenting and obeying what God says entitles one to His wonderful salvation.

(But first we have to repent!)
