Have you become so calloused by your experiences with people that you are unable to see life without being cynical? If someone told you that God loves you, does this conjur up a preprogrammed response due to inconsistencies from those that profess a faith in Jesus and in so doing block any real potential for an understanding of who Jesus really was and is.
I've seen too many people lose the potential for receptivity due to too many angry self-proclaimed believers shouting their beliefs rather than sharing their faith and the impact that God's love has had in their lives.

it will not care what religion you practice, or what you believe.

It will instead judge you by the merit of you soul and the love in your heart.

Agree or disagree?

I'm not saying it's bad because some of the nicest people I have ever known were wiccan. But I've noticed a lot of teenagers asking about it and saying they are wiccan. Do you have any idea why ?

Religion should be run independent from religion, however you have to understand that the US and England are to very different countries and that London separated relegion and government ever since Henry VIII.

my friend asked me once this question and i cannot answer it since i have been asking this question too. the question is "If God was perfect then why did he created satan?" "If in heaven there is no more pride, jealousy, envy (in short everything there is perfect) then why did satan envied God when he was an angel in heaven?
And if God knows everything from the beginning to end then he must have known that satan would do all those bad things, why did he continued to create him?

Total depravity supposes that all men are inheritly (from birth) dead in sin. They cannot even choose to do good (This means that even the good things, [helping old lady cross the street], is still considered evil.) They cannot choose God. (Romans 3) Men are born loving sin, and hating God. Do you believe this?

"If you believe in God and turn out to be incorrect, you have lost nothing -- but if you don't believe in God and turn out to be incorrect, you will go to hell. Therefore it is foolish to be an atheist."

This argument is known as Pascal's Wager. It has several flaws.

Firstly, it does not indicate which religion to follow. Indeed, there are many mutually exclusive and contradictory religions out there. This is often described as the "avoiding the wrong hell" problem. If a person is a follower of one religion, he may end up in another religion's version of hell.

Even if we assume that there's a God, that doesn't imply that there's one unique God. Which should we believe in? If we believe in all of them, how will we decide which commandments to follow?

Secondly, the statement that "If you believe in God and turn out to be incorrect, you have lost nothing" is not true. Suppose you're believing in the wrong God -- the true God might punish you for your foolishness. Consider also the deaths that have resulted from people rejecting medicine in favor of prayer.

Another flaw in the argument is that it is based on the assumption that the two possibilities are equally likely -- or at least, that they are of comparable likelihood. If, in fact, the possibility of there being a God is close to zero, the argument becomes much less persuasive. So sadly the argument is only likely to convince those who believe already.

Also, many feel that for intellectually honest people, belief is based on evidence, with some amount of intuition. It is not a matter of will or cost-benefit analysis.

Formally speaking, the argument consists of four statements:

One does not know whether God exists.
Not believing in God is bad for one's eternal soul if God does exist.
Believing in God is of no consequence if God does not exist.
Therefore it is in one's interest to believe in God.

God is (by definition) a being than which no greater being can be thought.
Greatness includes greatness of virtue.
Therefore, God is a being than which no being could be more virtuous. But virtue involves overcoming pains and dangers.
Indeed, a being can only be properly said to be virtuous if it can suffer pain or be destroyed.

A God that can suffer pain or is destructible is not one than which no greater being can be thought. For you can think of a greater being, that is, one that is nonsuffering and indestructible.
Therefore, God does not exist.

Isaiah 54:5 5 For your Maker is your husband,
the Lord of hosts is his name;( Is this is jesus?)
and the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer,(Is this jesus!)
the God of the whole earth he is called.
Now lets look at the famous scritputre isaiah 53;10
10 Yet it was the will of the Lord to crush him; he has put him to grief;
when his soul makes an offering for sin,
he shall see his offspring; he shall prolong his days;(just this sentance alone is the most controdictioning evidence that jesus was mistaken)
the will of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
cant be mary the mother of jesus!
Isaiah 54:1 “Sing, O barren one, who did not bear; (I thought mary was the virgin?)
