it will not care what religion you practice, or what you believe.

It will instead judge you by the merit of you soul and the love in your heart.

Partly!

Since you are a sinner, your heart will be found lacking!

You will not have atonement for your sin. Therefore it does matter what you practice and believe!

God was compassionate is paying for the sin! Denial of his compassion rejects his cure for your deceitful heart and well you know the rest!

Paul H. do some studies on russia china and North Korea! Those are your atheist better places!

not so. Jesus told us that "I am the way, the truth, and the life - no one comes to the father except through me." The Bible tells us in Acts 16:31 to "believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and u will b saved.."

sincerity does not mean much if you turn out to be sincerley wrong. consider - if i sincerely believe that apple juice will cause your car to run better than gas, would you encourage me to go ahead and fill your tank with Mott's? Of course not. Why? Because your instruction manual and basic common sense tell you this is untrue - and harmful. The Bible is our Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth. i suggest readig the gospel of JOhn - really short and concisely siummarizes the life and works of Jesus.
also, if you want ot be judged by merit, pls realize God has a standard by which we COULD earn eternal life. Matt 5:48 states "be therefore perfect, as your father in heaven is perfect." that lvs me out. James 2:10 tells us that if we keep the entire law but make one mistake, we will be held accountable for violating all the law. and God will by no means leave the guilty unpunished. exodus 34:7 i suggest u find a healthy Bible teaching church and schedule a free apt with a pastor to address your concerns in depth.

Disagree....according to the word u have to conform to Him and His will. After all He is the one with the power. People do what they want and may be a loving person but don't conform to His will. They will definitely follow the examples he left by kicking satan out of Heaven for his highmindedness, Kicking Adam & Eve out of the garden for disobedience, burning Sodom & Gommorah for thier sin etc.

We are not different than those people and if they were punished so will we be. I believe that's why he had it written...but people take it all lightly.

Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. Revelation 22:14

Jesus said "I am the Way, The Truth and The Life. Noone comes to the Father but by Me." There is a very compassionate God- He allowed His Son to be killed to pay the penalty for everyones sins. All that put thier faith in His Son will have eternal life. NOT based on what you did but what HE has done. Faith in Christ is not a religion, it is a relationship with the Living God.

why people believe in god still i do not know.

the purpose of religion in the past was a scare tactic, to keep people on the straight and narrow, where shooting stars were not understood, and people generally did not know enough about their enviroment compared to what we understand today.

science has now explained most of the things that were 'miracles' and other such 'signs' that 'god' has left for us all.

true science cannot fully explain what created the universe, but neither can the bible (which wasnt written at the time of 'jesus', yet is a combination of many books that were still not written at the time of 'jesus'.

I find it bizarre that people actually believe that God is 'all seeing' but then lets major disasters that has killed billions of 'his children' through the ages, let alone 1000's in one particular disaster.......If he did exist, dont you think he is one mean, sadistic god?

sorry to include a question in my answer, but i think as a race, we need to abolish religion, and maybe the world would become a better place!

nothing we do but yield to grace will get us into heaven. Jesus gives all grace unto the world. all religions are manmade, God made man to fellowship with God. God will knowing our hearts determine if we as individuals, loved Him and followed with our hearts seeking Him. God has no grandkids so just bc youre in a church your parents are in and theyre doing well doesnt make anyone else saved. 100000000000000000000000000000 ppl can read the same passages and come away with genuine loving intent in their heart for Gods will. this heart is what He says He will judge us all by. no religious practice will get anyone into heaven only the blood of Christ in grace will

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.----Draw----means "to drag," in the Strong's dictionary # 1670. John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus himself said. these words in these two verses. In one verse, He says no man can come unto Him (unless), and in the other verse, He says no man can come unto the Father (unless). And then He gives the conditions of each verse. So this is a great insight on why we can never boast about our own works. Now, I don't know about the mortal soul, but definitely God judges us by the love in our hearts. And there's a great love to be found in the Bible, but few will find it, because many are called, but few are chosen. ( Matt.22:14 ). But, in 1 Tim. 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and come unto the knowledge of the truth.

The god you have created in your mind does not exist. He is loving and compassionate, but also just, righteous and holy. None of His characteristics can override another. This may be hard for you to understand, but that is why He is God, and you are not.

Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked who can know it?

Disagree. The loving and compassionate God that I know, who dwells in pure Light, cannot look upon sin (which is darkness), so in His compassion and love He made a way to clothe darkness in Light. If you don't get the clothes you don't get the Audience. The King is the King and He sets the parameters.
