The chances of fulfilling just 48 of the Old Testament prophecies, predicting the coming of Christ, would be as follows:

One in 1 trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion, trillion (the 1 has 144 zeros after it, but Yahoo won't allow that many to be posted)! Please refer to the link below.

That would be 10 to the 156th power! That number is utterly incomprehensible!

The Old Testament contains 332 distinct prophecies or predictions about the coming of the Messiah. These prophecies include the time and manner of His birth, suffering, denial, betrayal, death, burial, and resurrection. All 332 were literally fulfilled in Jesus Christ!

Does anyone care to figure out those odds???

These prophecies are not vague, ambiguous, Nostradamus-type predictions, which often depend on the interpretation of the scholar or investigator. Rather, they are precise, clear cut, and very, very specific.

Most so-called prophets, clairvoyants, mystics, and crystal-ball gazers, are very fuzzy about their predictions. They do not give specific information like locations, dates, detailed events, or precise sums of money. They do not predict what would be termed “the impossible” – such as a virgin birth, or resurrection from the dead.

But in the case of Christ, the prophecies were very specific – detailed – and did include the “miraculous” or the “impossible.” And even these impossible, miraculous events came true, just as predicted hundreds of years beforehand!

Jesus Christ is the prophesied Messiah!

Well, praise God!! I am a Jewish believer and have been for over 20 years. I studied and found without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus-Yeshua-fullfilled the prophecies that were foretold of Mechiach. It is simple faith, and not some magical complicated thing, He came so that ALL should ba saved. Welcome to His family and yes, you very well can accept what He did for you as True. Jesus was a Jew and told the disciples to preach first to the Jew and then everywhere else for we are beloved.
I always tell people that I ahve been chosen twice!! :) Praise God and I will greet you one day either here or face to face in HEaven :) May the Lord richly bless you as you grow in love and knowledge of Him.

You've got to be kidding to claim you are Jewish when Jews are a re-invention of the Bible and part of the Hoax of the crucifixion of Christ, which was simply the crucifixion of two thieves named "Jesus" by the Roman Governor.

You would not want to claim to be Jewish if you read what "Jesus" cursed the Biblical Jews with, "You are of your father the Devil, and the desires of your father you will always do. He was murderer in the beginning and stood not in truth because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie he speaks of his own because he is a liar and the father of lies." (John 8:44)

The Biblical Jews only succeeded in having two of their own thieves crucified and named Jesus by Pilate, the Roman Governor, and this went from the Passover into the Sabbath, in breach of the Law of Deuteronomy 21:22-23, and made the Land accursed, as it is today, and you accursed, and having the blood of the crucified thieves on your hands forever by the tongues of your fore-fathers.

As a Jew you can free yourself from the curse of Jesus only if you return to Islam and accept the Quran.

There never was a religion called Judaism and there never were Jewish Scriptures. The Bible is as much a trick as was the crucifixion of the Messiah and Christianity.

Amen

The Jewish scriptures DO NOT predict that Jesus will be the savior, they were written 3000 years before his time and only stated that a savior would come.

In his time Jesus was a common name, as were the equivalents of Mary and Joseph.

There is not a single original story in the Bible, all of them come from tales of earlier mythology, predating monotheism by thousands of years.

This is not to say that belief in a higher power and the basic ideas of Christianity or any faith, Islam, Jewish, Baha'i, Hindu, are wrong, just that they are the same ideas from different prophets.

Check out 2 books, "Misquoting Jesus", written by a Christian scholar who went to Billy Graham's Alma ma tar, and "The greatest story ever sold", which shows how all of the bible came from earlier tales.

Religious books are written as allegory and metaphor, they and NOT FACTUAL HISTORY.

Oh, you've made my day! You should seek out a Messianic Jewish temple. I honestly think that's the closest to what christians should be anyway, and would join one if only one was near me. It would probably be the best way for you to discuss this with other Jews that believe in Christ. Remember, you're joining a very prestigious group, all the diciples were Jewish, Christ was Jewish. Our christian heros were all Jews.

By the way, Isaiah is my favorite prophet. If you'd like, I can contact a friend who is a Messianic Jew for you.

Hey folks, seen the trailer for "Clerks II"? Kevin Smith stole one of my lines - "Did you know that Jesus was a Jew?"

And his apostles were Jewish.

And his work and teachings were shared primarily with Jews.

And further, Paul might be considered a Messianic Jew, since he was a Jew that believe that Jesus was the prophecized Messiah.

But I have yet to see, in writing, any mention of Jesus in the Hebrew Bible (the Christian Old Testament). Yes, Christian interpretations claim that the prophecies of the Messiah point to Him, that His life illustrates them, but where is Jesus specifically mentioned *by name*?

I am so glad that you noticed that. Yes, Jesus filfilled so many of the hebrew scriptures. From where he was born in Bethlem
called out of egypt, raised the dead, healed the sick and walked on water. Feed the multitudes with a few loaves and fishes.
calmed the seas. on and on
Shortly he will be back and remove all the wicked people and set up a beautiful paradise all over this earth.
He was the messiah and will save the world from the hands of men before they destroy it.

said. Jews are not a race. Jews are a covenant u . s . people whose faith is Judaism. there have been Jews of better than one race who in many situations going on the covenant at Sinai and on the prompt there are Jews of each race. the reason Jews do no longer believe in Jesus is that Judaism is about monotheism and perception in God, and Torah demands that the Jews reject the historic pagan notions of adult adult males transforming into deities. the international round us is sparkling info that the prophetic imaginative and prescient of the Davidic messiah hasn't exceeded off. It has no longer some thing to do with your nasty insults to Christians. maximum Christians i comprehend have a much better psychological AND moral capcity than you show the following so unashamedly.
