I have had this deep love for the earth and the moon. And the creatures in it. I found scriptures in your bible that said " the earth will help me...and that all the creatures have souls evidently....The moon is singing to Him " and to me...love songs for Jesus.... Are there any mystics that can add to this for me ?

In the dualistic scenario of an afterlife, those on the right hand get to go to heaven, while those on the left will be cast into the furnace. No doubt every believer knows someone, perhaps even loves someone, whom they assume will not make it past the pearly gate. Would this diminish your enjoyment of heaven?

The root word seems to be commune or community. But we never hear anything about that when we take communion.

God, the believers say, wants us to forgive those that trespass against us, but when it comes to forgiving, God himself is apparently unable to do it, until he has the Romans murder Jesus. God uses Jesus in this murderous fashion, causing Jesus to call out on the cross,"Father, why has thou forsaken Me"?
(This is from the Bible, not a movie, for the benefit of believers who have not read the Bible themselves.)

Since I had 50 some odd christians tell me today that the American soldiers aren't actually murdering the Iraqis, they are only 'killing' them and Jesus approves since these soldiers are just following the orders of the state that he tells them to obey, does this make him smile?

Just for the record, what I learned from christians today was:

1) It isn't murder if god tells you to take a life.
2) It isn't murder if the state tells you to take a life.
3) 'Killing' isn't the same as 'murder'. Taking a life for no good reason = bad. Taking a life for an ideal = justified.

I hope this taught you something about god's love.

There is a theory going around that God, in the first testament disagreed with his son in heaven, jesus, on how to handle justice and punishment on Earth. Apparently, God wanted to be a hardliner, and jesus wanted to convince humans through the power of love.

The anti-christ, could be God, which teases the humans, to find his "true" followers, and seperate them...

Apparently, a very recently drawing has been found, linked to the bible in an archealogical dig which represents a repressed society sorounded by high walls in the dessert, and the "true" followers of jesus outside on the barren plains of the desert.

The drawing was connected to revelations, and has been stipulated that the repressed society is a totalitarian one representing how evil requires control, evil is kept in check by evil, and those that are good, can rome free, for there is nothing to fear from good....

maybe those that live in totalitrian place are those chosen to be bad by god,and those left tojesus

that if you did not believe in him you were going to hell?

I know that Jesus has "said" that you must follow him to go to heaven, but can someone quote from scripture (where Jesus was speaking) that you were going to hell if you didn't?

Like temper flare-ups, inordinate celebration of the human form (so to speak), frustration, pride, depression, drugs, sex, smoking, and anything else that doesn't glorify God but is still tempting? How does one break free? What steps should one take?

Why not a loving savior who died for their sins? They believe in many, many other gods too. But why not Jesus? Hed either have to be the living god of the universe or the most crazed lunatic in all of history, which he is most certainly not. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!!

Tibetan buddhism and all forms of meditative practices
