Joh 3:16 "For God loved the world in this way: He gave His One and Only Son, so that everyone who believes in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
Joh 5:24 "I assure you: Anyone who hears My word and believes Him who sent Me has eternal life and will not come under judgment but has passed from death to life.
Joh 5:29 and come out--those who have done good things, to the resurrection of life, but those who have done wicked things, to the resurrection of judgment.
Joh 8:21 Then He said to them again, "I'm going away; you will look for Me, and you will die in your sin. Where I'm going, you cannot come."
Joh 11:25 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in Me, even if he dies, will live.
Joh 11:26 Everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die--ever. Do you believe this?"
Joh 12:24 "I assure you: Unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains by itself. But if it dies, it produces a large crop.
Joh 12:25 The one who loves his life will lose it, and the one who hates his life in this world will keep it for eternal life.
Joh 12:26 If anyone serves Me, he must follow Me. Where I am, there My servant also will be. If anyone serves Me, the Father will honor him.
Joh 14:6 Jesus told him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
Joh 15:6 If anyone does not remain in Me, he is thrown aside like a branch and he withers. They gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned.
Mat 5:21 "You have heard that it was said to our ancestors, Do not murder, and whoever murders will be subject to judgment.
Mat 5:22 But I tell you, everyone who is angry with his brother will be subject to judgment. And whoever says to his brother, 'Fool!' will be subject to the Sanhedrin. But whoever says, 'You moron!' will be subject to hellfire.
Mat 5:30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of the parts of your body than for your whole body to go into hell!
Mat 7:13 "Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it.
Mat 7:14 How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it.
Mat 7:21 "Not everyone who says to Me, 'Lord, Lord!' will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of My Father in heaven.
Mat 7:22 On that day many will say to Me, 'Lord, Lord, didn't we prophesy in Your name, drive out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?'
Mat 7:23 Then I will announce to them, 'I never knew you! Depart from Me, you lawbreakers!'
Mat 8:12 But the sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth."
Mat 10:14 If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, shake the dust off your feet when you leave that house or town.
Mat 10:15 I assure you: It will be more tolerable on the day of judgment for the land of Sodom and Gomorrah than for that town.
Mat 10:28 Don't fear those who kill the body but are not able to kill the soul; rather, fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Mat 10:33 But whoever denies Me before men, I will also deny him before My Father in heaven.
Mat 11:21 "Woe to you, Chorazin! Woe to you, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented in sackcloth and ashes long ago!
Mat 11:22 But I tell you, it will be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon on the day of judgment than for you.
Mat 11:23 And you, Capernaum, will you be exalted to heaven? You will go down to Hades. For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until today.
Mat 12:30 Anyone who is not with Me is against Me, and anyone who does not gather with Me scatters.
Mat 12:36 I tell you that on the day of judgment people will have to account for every careless word they speak.
Mat 12:37 For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned."
Mat 13:41 The Son of Man will send out His angels, and they will gather from His kingdom everything that causes sin and those guilty of lawlessness.
Mat 13:42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

We need to be careful - all the books in the New Testament are an INTERPRETATION of what Jesus said. There were MANY interpretations and the early church selected the set of interpretations that were the most popular. Because Jesus' message of Unconditional Love was so radical, I wouldn't count on popularity being the best judge of correctness. People didn't understand his message, felt threatened by it, and instead interpreted it according to what made sense to our egos: a judgmental god capable of both love and punishment -- a god that supports the concepts of hell, heaven, sin, guilt, etc. The negative stuff is a projection of our EGOS -- exactly like those who believed in a volcano god projected the idea of sacrifice onto the 'god' that lived in the volcano.

If you want to look at the words of Jesus then the main sources are Matthew, Mark, Luke and John. The main content of Jesus' preaching in Matthew, Mark and Luke is the kingdom of God. The afterlife is not the goodnews. It is this life. The kingdom is here. In short, Jesus says God is acting in a new wonderful way here and now. Repent and believe.
In the places he does talk about the afterlife one consistent theme is the idea that most people will be surprised. Some that thought they were in are excluded and some that thought they were out, are in!

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
There are only two places to end up after you die. Either with the Father in Heaven or with the devil in hell.

For the record, hell is way overrated. Its just so convenient to say ooooooooooowwww...you are going to hell. What really amazes me is the seeming endless need to judge others. I personnaly believe that hell does not exist other than to reflect the opposite of heaven.
Close to God is heaven. Far from God is hell. So the good news is we are all going to heaven. Each human has a soul that is eternal. The real question should be is "are you going to be close to God or far from God'. This question is extremly personal and thats why you can only be responcible for one life when you meet your maker...that of your own soul. My last point is that God can do whatever He wants. In order to know what God is going to do and who He is going to judge you would have to be God. God does His job and is very good at it. Our task it to try and do our best and leave the judging to Him!

that is extra probably that he did exist than he did not. there is no info, yet one does no longer assume to discover info of a preacher of a small sect of Jews who were given finished by using the Romans. yet given how rapidly Christianity spread and the way rooted the Jesus tale is in activities of the time, that is fantastically unlikely that he's a mythical parent. very few Biblical scholars doubt that the Jesus fable is in accordance to a real man or woman, besides the actuality that that man or woman is probably faraway from the Jesus that has been surpassed right down to us.

The story of Lazarus the beggar and the Rich man teach this doctrine, as does the book of Revelation. It is the Revelation of Jesus Christ, and anyone whose name is not found in the book of the lamb is cast into hell.
We were made for eternity and that eternity will be either with God in joy or away from God in eternal torment.
I hope that you find and follow Jesus.
