Sadly, the Great Pumpkin has not gained an appreciable following, and poor Linus usually sits alone in the pumpkin patch on All Hallow's Eve. Do you not hear the call of the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown?

Please be so kind as to drop the ism off Bahai.
You have a very good question. Sorry I dont have the answer as far as numerical facts or statistics but.........I'd say the Baha'is are doing ok. Many people are becoming Muslim but many westerners believe it to be a bit to extremeist.
Chistianity might ,to some, be viewed as a middle of the road religion. And...therefore popular.
(I'll probably get some flack over that) I would also guess that meditative religion would be on the rise because of peoples need to have a religious experience that standard religion might not encourage or offer. In the west Christianity is the default religion though many fall short of living up to the spirit of Christ's teachings.

Christianity is not a religion it is a Faith, any Christian that is a part of the Body of Christ does not need, Works , Rituals , Ceremonies or laws which religion is, but many self proclaimed Christians that are more Dogmatic get to close to religious. as time goes by all Religions other than ,Christians will try to work together. may even form a World type church that accepts all religions but it will be Ant-Christ. So Religion will continue to grow because they will join against Christianity, Christianity has never won a world popularity contest, neither did its head " Jesus"

As far the the US goes, Wicca is the fastest growing, while Christianity is on the decline, from 86% in 1990, to 77% in 2001.
The growth rate of Islam, according to the U.S. Center for World Mission, at 2.9% is higher than the 2.6% growth rate of the world's population. Thus, the percentage of Muslims in the world is growing on the order of 0.6% per year.
There is no agreement about future trends in Christianity and Islam:
Author Samuel Huntington predicts that Islam will overtake Christianity early in the 21st century. By the year 2025, Islam will have 5% more adherents than will Christianity.
The U.S. Center for World Mission estimated in 1997 that Christianity's total number of adherents is growing at about 2.3% annually. This is approximately equal to the growth rate of the world's population. Islam is growing faster: about 2.9% and is thus increasing its market share. At this rate, Islam would surpass Christianity as the world's main religion by 2023 CE.
Most Christian sources predict that Christianity will retain its numerical lead over Islam beyond the year 2025. For example, futurist John Gary stated in 1997: "In no probable statistical scenario reaching out to the year 2200, does Islam surpass Christianity in absolute number of adherents."
So, in the end, it depends on who you ask. I, personally, believe it is Wicca and Neo-Paganism. I personally have seen a bit of an uprising far greater with them than with Christians or Muslims.

I would hope that Christianity is the fastest growing religion population wise, but I get the impression that Islam holds that title.

didn't read the entire question, but think it is Roman Catholicism. reasons are because it is the best and birth control is forbidden. Also, lots of converts every year, even with the priest scandal in the US. And great world-wide respect for the late Pope JP2. So grows the religion.... I'm a Catholic

Paganism and wicca or most pre Christian religions as christianity has become to complex and hipocritacal.
Mideastern religions as they do not practice birthcontrol in numbers.
Any who are forced into a religion usually do not truelly beleive. Just pretend enough not to get killed.
