I have had this deep love for the earth and the moon. And the creatures in it. I found scriptures in your bible that said " the earth will help me...and that all the creatures have souls evidently....The moon is singing to Him " and to me...love songs for Jesus.... Are there any mystics that can add to this for me ?

Jesus has appeared 2 me and i love Him and I think he is telling me that the earth is my friend and the creatures have souls. Look at these scriptures that confirm what Im telling you. The first one says they worship the Lord and the second says the earth wiull be used by Him to help us.
Ps 148:3-5
3 Praise him, sun and moon,
praise him, you morning stars;
4 Praise him, high heaven,
praise him, heavenly rain clouds;
5 Praise, oh let them praise the name of GOD —
he spoke the word, and there they were!
Rev 5:13-6:1
13 Then I heard every creature in Heaven and earth, in underworld and sea, join in, all voices in all places, singing:
To the One on the Throne! To the Lamb!
The blessing, the honor, the glory, the strength,
For age after age after age.
14 The Four Animals called out, "Oh, Yes!" The Elders fell to their knees and worshiped.
Rev 12:16
16 But the earth came to the rescue of the woman, and the ground opene

I am not a christian however I am what some might call a mystic. I believe that there is a much older basis to true Christianity and it is deeply mystical. I think you are picking up on it when you are reading about the moon singing. The moon is deeply symbolic and I do not pretend to know what the original writers of the bible were trying to communicate. However, I do know the moon is associated with the Goddess, Cycles, and at times darker or hidden aspects of spirit. Lets suppose that Jesus was a real man who was involved in a religious system that included a female equal to him. The moon might been seen as a symbol of the "Goddess" or his "equal" and it would make sense that she would sing to him. If he is the male God and the Moon aspect symbolizing the feminine aspect of "God". The moon singing of her love for her beloved, wooing him in a way. Reaching out to him in a kind of universal soul song. There were some Greek religious systems who believe there was a sacred sound of the universe. These Greeks believe that it would sound like a hiss or a turning wheel, perhaps this was the moon song that was being sung to Jesus. Reminding us all that we are a part of grander picture, that the universe and one another are not at all seperate. That the song you hear from the moon, is actually the sound of your own being which is being reflected back at you. Just my thoughts.

I love the earth too. Not for any spiritual reason, but just because it's so.....alive. I go outside on a nice summer evening and look out at all the life, insects, plants, etc....and I think to myself "This IS heaven, if we would just let it be.".
Of course there are some that will never let it be. They think happiness and heaven only come after you're dead. I say those people are fools. The guy below me is a perfect example of these fools. He actually LONGS for the day when the earth is destroyed. And i'm sure he would hasten it's demise if he could.

Please state book, chapter and verse if you say something is in the Scriptures, otherwise, it leads to doubt that it is there. Do not love this earth, this ball of matter, it will be destroyed with fire in the end and remade, perfectly, as it was intended to be. Do not worship or venerate the creation of the creator, that is dangerous ground.
Rom 1:20 For the unseen things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things made, both His eternal power and Godhead, for them to be without excuse.
Rom 1:21 Because knowing God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful. But they became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22 Professing to be wise, they became foolish
Rom 1:23 and changed the glory of the incorruptible God into a likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds, and four-footed animals, and creeping things.
Rom 1:24 Because of this, God gave them up to impurity in the lusts of their hearts, their bodies to be dishonored among themselves,
Rom 1:25 who changed the truth of God into the lie, and worshiped and served the created thing more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.

Yes this was the case before Christianity came.
All things have souls even the rocks . in Genius God gave all the plants of the earth for the healing of nations.
you might be comfortable with the Celtic religions pre and post Christianity. as most symbols in Christ inanity were taken from them. they would let you practice both ideas without confusion.

Don't listen to Gary, Islam is a monotheistic religion (one god) and the crescent moon was because of Saladin, the first Ottoman sultan, he wanted his kingdom to be shone on by the crescent moon always. Also, any mysticism or religion (all the same really) is pointless, it wont help you, so stop wasting your time.

The whole universe gives glory to God, shows how awesome He is. The earth does help me. helps me eat, helps me live.
There is anmals in heaven. The bible talks about horses and chariouts that come down to heaven.
The point is, everything goes back to God. So should we.

I think it's great that you have deep love for the earth and the moon, but it isn't good to love the creation more than the Creator. God doesn't want you to love and worship the earth and moon more than Him. After all He made it for you.

Nope. All their going to tell you is that GOD is everything and to love him. Jesus, God, jesus, god......god shut up!
There's my next question, why does yahoo answers attract so many god damned christians?
The bible, while it is a good teaching tool and the messages it has should be listened to, it's "facts" are not even close to being such and the inconsistenies in it are not addressed by the church.

There are three mystics here that I know of. There may be more, but these three are: little_morphing Annie, Dhyana, and Tasa. Maybe they can help. I don't know if they're on tonight. Check their 360 page. I think they have a group as well. You might like it?
