Anyone heard of Hemi-Sync? or Binaural Beats?

If you have, can I get some opinions or experiences involved.

I have. Did you just buy one of those mind machines? I bought one a few years ago and it worked somewhat. Some of the programs were designed to produce binarual beats. I never experienced a dramatic effect from them, however. I used to put it on while I worked. It seemed to help me concentrate. I also used to wear it sometimes and meditate and it seemed to help me get into a certain kind of trance, but nothing radically different from what I could do without it.
