Basically what keeps you going day by day? For me it is my faith, family, friends, and seeking to learn. There are no wrong answers that can be given, I am just curious not judging.

I believe there is 1 God and he is called by many names -Ala - Budda - etc... I also believe all who believe in him by whatever name you want to call him Must truly follow his teachings, this doesn't mean I believe you must follow and believe everything written in the Bible as it has so much Man made influence. I do however believe we should all try to live a life of helping others, What keeps me going is I volunteer at a senior day center this is not a nursing home but a place where seniors can gather 4 days a week to enjoy cards, bingo on Wed., eat lunch for $2.00. We also take those that can't drive any longer or that have no families or don't have family or friends willing to help out, grocery shopping, trips to the movies, out to lunch, clothes shopping etc.. this is very rewarding for me. I also take care of a brother in my home is is blind, epileptic, and also has MS. My mother lived with me for 7 yrs prior to her passing last Sept. I feel it's one think to say you are religous and talk a good talk but how many that truly go to church everytime the door is open walk a good walk??? Jesus was very devoted and teached alot about this but to my dismay many churches and religious groups are always patting theirselves on the back about the funds or items they send to other countries but how many know that on the very block they live on there is a senior going without a meal or a single Mom or Grandma raising children who are wondering where the next meal will come from or how they will afford school clothes this year???? I don't donate to Goodwill or the Salvation Army because I've always wondered how is it they are helping the poor if the truly poor can't even afford the clothes they sell in there stores??? Don't get me wrong, They do have some wonderful programs but I also know for a fact they turn many who are truly needy down when they are asked for help. Sorry for rambling on, my bottom line thought is Don't just talk about faith....Live it!
God wants Spiritual Fruits not Religous Nuts!!!

Love gives my life it's deepest meaning. Without Love I am an empty shell, making human noises and doing human things, but empty.

It is definately my faith in God through Jesus Christ.

God has a plan and purpose for my life, and I trust Him in it completely. Each day is an adventure with Him.

To be:

"Lord, make me a channel of Thy Peace -- that where there is hatred, I may bring Love -- that where there is wrong, I may bring the Spirit of Forgiveness -- that where there is discord, I may bring Harmony -- that where there is error, I may bring Truth -- that where there is doubt, I may bring Faith -- that where there is despair, I may bring Hope -- that where there are shadows, I may bring Light -- that where there is sadness, I may bring Joy.
Lord, grant that I may seek rather to Comfort than to be comforted -- to Understand, than to be understood -- to Love, than to be loved. For it is by self-forgetting that one finds. It is by forgiving that one is forgiven It is by dying that one awakens to Eternal Life."

Everyone in my sphere of influence benefits if the above is fulfilled. And it is. I am a rich man.

Peace and Love

Kisses, kisses, kisses...from God, my family, my friends, the sun, the breeze, a realization, knowledge, babies, love, a stranger's smile or kind words, laughter, a breath taking view...kisses from them all.
