Religion should be run independent from religion, however you have to understand that the US and England are to very different countries and that London separated relegion and government ever since Henry VIII.

If you sincerely want an answer, please rephrase your question so we can understand it. If you are speaking about the separation of religion from government, please say so. I agree that the church ( religion) should be separate from the State (government) and not only because Henry VIII sought to weaken the church for personal reasons. Here in the US, we fiercely promote the separation so that we are not subject to church dogma and so that no state can interfere with our right to practice religion.
