Not all Muslims are bad people or terrorists... not all Americans are infidels either...
Every group has good and bad people.
BUT the problem is that very few good Muslims (especially in Europe) are speaking out against the bad Muslims in Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, etc.

Most Muslims are not terrorists, a few are - but then again so are a few "Christians".
Every group has good and bad people but as I recall it's only about 7 or 8% of any given group that creates problems that make the news.
What is a problem -- sadly -- very few Muslims speak out against the trouble makers - be they in Europe, US, Philippines, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Egypt, Lebanon or anywhere else. It comes across as if they really don't disagree with what the terrorists are doing - and that my friend - is a big problem. I think that scares / creates fear for many folks. It is in fear, that we find the home base for anger. Anger blinds us. - Look at history - were all Americans of Japanese linage, spies during W W 2 ? ...but how many were locked up? How many Americans of German linage were locked up? ...ah...but "who" attacked us ...blind anger...
Oops, got a little long winded there ...

I have a few Muslim friends. They are very kind, threat their women right and would not step on an ant.
I am Christian I have a good opinion of my Friends.
There is bad in all religions.
After 9/11 I took time to read the Quran and had it explained to me.
I do think they are getting a bad rap.
People need to make up their own minds as I did .
The media can be very cruel

Unfortunately, most of the world's most notorious terrorists are Muslim and most Muslim countries either support or condone their actions. When was the last time you saw a massed protest by Muslims against terrorists or terrorism? When was the last time you heard mullahs protesting terrorism? When was the last time you heard a Muslim protest terrorism?
Muslims have all been found guilty by having the same religious beliefs as the terrorists, if the terrorists could be said to have sincere religious beliefs. Until the general Muslim world community rejects terrorism, they will still be associated with it.

I'll try this again!! First, why don't you read the quran? It is riddled with instructions detailing who, and ways to kill unbelievers. Muslims are taught there are three ways to treat a nonbeliever; convert him, or tax him or kill him. Under Isamic law, a husband, father or brother can legally kill a sister, wife, cousin, etc. in order to preserve honor within the family. This "loving" practice has even been performed in the US, by a peace loving muslim family.
I went to college with muslims, later ; I worked with them. They have no honor or respect when dealing with nonbelievers.
The sole intent of islam is to enslave the entire world and convert its population to islam. If you truly believe that muslims are peacful, I think you should go and live in an islamic country for a few years. Learn about their culture and their religion. Then judge for yourself how peaceful the followers of islam are.

I know there are great numbers of Muslims that are kind, honest people. However, it is up to the good Muslims to ream out the undesirables, they make the whole religion look very bad. In today's global climate, people will stereotype, just based on a few bad apples.

I will play the game and answer your question. The Middle East is all over the news for various reasons and has been since 9/11 and invading Iraq. People point out what they perceive to be the most significant difference between the Middle East population and ourselves.
I frankly get sick of the generalizations and silly questions as well.

Not all of us feel that way. I have a Muslim friend at work and he is a nice guy. He originally came from Africa and he is now a US citizen. We talk about soccer and gossip about work. (That's probably a sin for both of us.)
The super conservative Christians that blow up abortion clinics give other conservative Christians and all Christians in general a bad rap too. Muslims are just more popular at the moment.

Your right! I am a Christan and I have had this same conversation with many of my friends. I believe we both pray to the one true God no matter what we call him. I think we just have some different thinking's because we have been taught by different profits. I am so glad to here you defend your religion without bashing anyone. Thank you.

Why do people have to stereo-type other people.
Some Americans always see Muslims as base on Osama, Palestinians, Zerqawi etc.
So I pray to Allah to enlight all the human beings. Ameen.
