Satan takes us hostage by one silvery thread at a time. One little thought here One little habit there. An idea over there. one small unkind act over there. As they accumulate it takes on the strength of a cord, then a rope, then a chain if we don't realize what's happening and change our thoughts and behaviors. That's where repentance comes in! He will try to convince us that we can't be forgiven. It's too late - we will hear him whisper! But don't you believe him. Christ died that we can be forgiven for all of our mistakes and sins. Isn't it wonderfull?

The devil's greatest tactic has been teaching us to compromise. We have come to a point where there is no longer such a thing as true good and evil. If there is no evil then it becomes easier to compromise. Many today who claim to be Christian don't believe some of the very basic fundamentals of the Bible's teachings. Many have been lead far astray. I worry that on the day of judgement there will be many "christians" who will be told "Depart from me for I knew you not"

Easy.
Doubt.
It is invisible and potent in small doses. It causes strong faithed children to grow up and question God. It makes good people make bad decisions. It has given Satan enormous power since day 1. Doubt is like a cloud in front of the Truth.

Actually, the goal of Satan is to prove to God that humans can rule themselves. He doesn't necessarily WANT to kill everyone because then he would have no one to worship him, which is what he wanted to begin with. But the result of him blinding the minds of the unbelievers is spiritual death and eventual physical death for not obeying God.

To deceive the world into thinking that God is evil, and take the focus off himself. To make people think that they've got plenty of time to make a decision for Christ. And to make people believe that they can live any way they choose, but still get to heaven by trying to be a "good person".

With sweetness and joy.
That he is the way and the light.
That he is Christ come to take you away.
He will bring you all your needs and wants.
Fall down and worship me and all this can be yours.

His biggest tactic is temptation, usually money, but could be anything we desire. And no, unbelievers don't get it.
