What do you think about the great tribulation and the antichrist, etc?

I heard, from more than one person, that supposedly when the whole world has the same currency, the antichrist has risen and will take over.

also, the mark of the beast supposedly wont be on the forehead as said before, but will supposedly be a small chip inplanted into the skin of humans to serve as a kind of "credit card", the chip will like a 666-like mark on the skin. marking you as a follower of the antichrist and condemming you to hell.

Revelation says that the anti CHrist will force all men- rich, poor, geat, and small to wear his mark, the name or the number of his name, on their right hand or forehead.. so that they cannot buy sell or trade without the mark... his number is 666...

I do believe that this will be a computer chip with GPS, and I do believe a world leader will come from Europe, ans I do believe that he is alive today... is it so hard to believe that any of this is impossible? they have already united Europe...and its currency...

You don't even have to believe in the Bible to think that this is plausible... all of it in detail is in Revelation, the last book of the Bible.

Yes there will be some symbolism in Revelation... the world leader will promise peace but will not deliver... everyone will love him, but he is evil, anyone that takes his mark will be cursed- it will be by choice... he will reconstruct solomons temple in Israel, and proclaim hisself "god" there.

The tribulation the anti Christ, its all coming true... WW3 is coming ever closer, that means Jesus is comming, are you ready...

The tribulation and the Antichrist have both been around for a very long time. I don't recall seeing any prophecy about the world's currency in my Bible...maybe your informant has a newer edition?
The mark of the beast can be either in the forehead OR in the right hand (Rev 13:16) I doubt it has much to do with the digital chip, but I still wouldn't want one. The government already knows too much about our business as it is, without providing it with a 24 hour a day surveillance system.

The rise of the antichrist will come after the rapture of the church. A man will come forth who will broker a "false" peace in the middle east. People will think he is the answer to all problems. During this time, there will be a mark required to buy or sell. If you don't have that mark, you will not be able to do either. It is a very good guess that it may be a microchip. But as the bible says, it will be in the hand or the forehead.

Those who take this mark will not be able to be saved, even during the tribulation period. About three and one half years after the antichrist rises to power, he will stand in the "sanctuary" and demand to be worshipped as God. This will begin the second half of the tribulation, when God's wrath will be poured upon the earth.

You should read Revelation for yourself instead of listening to other people. I read Left Behind and believed it until I actually read Revelation myself. The chip could very easily be on the forehead. Think about it, you don't want it on your upper arm or somewhere it would be difficult to get at when your checking out at the grocery in the dead of winter would ya? No, of course, it should be somewhere easily accessable for scanning, like your hand or forehead. Just practical. I don't think the mark will look like a 666 either. 666 is the numerical mark of the beast, its his name. Like Nero Cesear's numberical number could be translated into 666, by an ancient Hebrew numerical system. That's doesn't mean the beast will be Nero, but the anti-christ's name will probably be able to be translated via the ancient Hebrew numerical system into 666. Could even be the name of the company that makes the chip or their logo? You can look for the antichrist when peace comes to the mid-east, that's a definate clue.

No need for the whole world to have the same currency since electronic transactions include a service fee to change from one currency to another which is a money making proposition for the banking industry. The bar code has a 666 in it. The microchip works on the same principle. Another sign of the end times is that this gospel of the kingdom of God will be preached to all nations of the world: Mathew 24:14. Also the conflict in the middle east will lead all nations into war; That will be the end!!!

Mythology is an interesting thing.

I think the whole microchip implant is the latest iteration of the old mark of the beast , and the story is evolving as our culture does. Despite numerous predictions and indications of the end times, they have so far failed to appear. Back in the 80's it was thought that the Russians were the great evil, and their leader was the antichrist, due to him being ' a great humanist' and so on.

In 100 years the mark of the beast will be taken to be something else, and so on , and so on. Mythology mutates as the story is told down through the years. The anicent Greeks would be horified by what Disney did to the stories of Hercules and so on, but that's just what culture did on the march forward.

It's an interesting theory, and there are plenty of them out there - and as much mythology to follow. Happy reading!

BEASTS
In Dan.7:2-8 we have 4 great beast come up from the sea. Sea, that is peoples of the earth. The first 3 beasts co-exist when the 4th beast rises. The 1st beast is Great Britain and the United States. The 2nd beast is Russia and communism. The 3rd beast is camouflaged with spots. It has 4 heads or hidden dynasties. (PEER) Politics, Economy, Education, and Religion. 2 sets of wings which is media and communication. The 4th beast is the same as the beast of Rev.13:1-2. It is a one world system or new world order. This beast is still rising out of the sea. It will have 7 heads or dominions, 10 horns or leaders. Then will come up a little horn which is AntiChrist.

APOSTASY
In II Thes.2:3 there will be “a falling away” first, apostasia in Greek. This is defection from truth or divorcement from God.

PARABLE OF THE FIG TREE
In Matt.24:32-34 Mark 13:28-30 the generation which sees this fig shoot “set up” will not die until all these things be fulfilled. This happened when Israel became a nation again May 15, 1948. This coincides with the baby-boomer generation and they have Grey hair.

WHEN SHALL THESE THINGS BE
In Matt.24:3-8, Mark 13:5-8, Luke 21:8-11.
Many shall come in my name (authority) saying I am Christ (Christian) and shall deceive many.
The best example of this is the so-called Rapture. This is a LIE which can easily be disproved by God’s Word. Christ returns at the seventh trump.
Wars and rumors of war.
Nation shall rise (rouse from obscurity) against (along side) nation kingdom against (along side) kingdom.
The words “shall rise” (eg-i'-ro) in Greek means “rouse from obscurity”.
This word “against” (epi) in Greek means “along side” not in opposition to.
Since 1990 (30) new countries have emerged. We now have the global market place or the global community.
Famines. Amos 8:11 Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD:
This famine of hearing the words of the LORD is very apparent on TV. Maybe a verse or two then mans’ words for 20 minutes.
Pestilences. Aids, mad cow disease, bird flu and etc.
Earthquakes in diverse places.
This word “earthquakes” (seismos) in Greek means both “earthquake and tempest”.
Look at the hurricanes we have been having.
All these are the beginning of sorrows (birth pangs).
This word “sorrows” (odin) in Greek means “birth pangs of childbirth”.
The birth pangs of a new dispensation, and the contractions are getting closer together. The water may have broke during the tsunami of 2004.

SCOFFERS
II Pet.3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts, II Pet.3:4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.

PERILOUS TIMES
II Tim.3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. A lot of this is interpretation of the Book of Revelations....while some of what you have listed here may not be far off, most of the experts on the topic of end-times (eschatology) will admit that there is some amount of speculation on the topic even among the experts.

If you want to study this for yourself, look it up in the Bible.
Matthew chapter 24 and the Book of Revelations should be a good start.

The time that nobody could buy or sell without the mark of the beast was when nobody could learn (buy) or teach (sell) without corrupt doctrine. The number 666 means confirmed evil and falseness married together in a person's will (platter) and understanding (cup). Anti-Christ means anti (against) Christ (the Word or the Truth).

Both the Anti-Christ and the great tribulation were in the dream of St. John recorded in the Book of Revelation. It was a dream and very symbolic/spiritual. I don't think anyone truly understands it's meaning except for possibly the person who dreamed it. Unfortunately, he's been dead these last 2000 years.
