Language of my country has a word which starts with fn- sound, so because of the having, I am curious about the non-having.

Example of the word: fnan, fnab, fnap, fneet, fnest, fnick...etc.

I want to make a lemon cake from a recipe I have, but the only problem is that it's in German. One of the ingredients says "200g Sahne". I know that this means 200g of cream, but what kind of cream? Heavy cream, whipped cream, sour cream... etc. ? If anyone could help me, that would be great :)

I've been told I have a gift for languages and I love learning them, so I've decided to major in either Romance Languages & Lit or East Asian languages (haven't decided which yet.) But, everyone's like, "Oh yeah! You should major in languages and then you can work for the CIA or the United Nations"...but I know those (along with translator and esl teacher) aren't the only "careers" you can do with a language major. What are some other ideas you guys have that I could look into?

I've used online translators to try and translate 'rollercoasters' into French, but I keep getting 'montagnes russes' (which translates back into English as 'Russian mountains')

...how upset people get when you don't give them the answer they want? I was the only person to answer a question about learning a language without help. Since I speak 3 languages, I gave a serious answer to the question. The result: the asker wrote, "I wish I could give you negative stars for that answer." Now I"M upset!!!!
