un domingo normal en toronto.

i'm not sure how to say wrong,

i would just say algo esta mal, because i have no idea about wrong.

I lost my sister

perdi a mi hermana.

i'm not sure but i think if you said
yo he perdido a mi hermana, it would translate to i have lost my sister.

Ro_idler's answer is correct as for the first two sentences.

"I lost my sister" would be "perdí a mi hermana" and in some places -a little more complex grammar- "Se me perdió mi hermana".
