Remember gustar is a reflexive verb.

(yo) me gusta
(tu) te gusta
(el) le gusta

etc.

Me gusta ir al cine. - I like to go to the cinema

A ti te gusta la ensalada? - Do you like salad?

Le gusta comer patatas - He/she/Ustd likes to eat potatoes

When you like something thats plural put an "n" on the end of "gusta".

Me gustan los animales - I like animals.

remember to use gustar with an indirect object (me, te, le, nos, os, les):

me gustan las manzanas / I like apples.

subject = manzanas (plural)
verb = gustan (3rd plural of gustar...to agree with manzanas)
Indirect object: me

literal translation: apples are pleasing to me.

Your turn (the test!):

¿Te gusta el café?

subject = ________________
verb = __________________
indirecto object = _________________

Have fun!
