Just like every women who thinks that adding implants or changing thier face would make them more attractive, why do African-American women use weaves/ wigs to make them attractive. I mean, they always say that black is beautiful, so why not go with the natural look?

Yes, I know that not only black women use weaves.

When I shop for family and friends, I take the time to find out early on what they desire for Xmas. I go out and get those individuals EXACTLY what they asked for. For the last several years (this one included), I express what I would like for Xmas. I do not get the things I want. When I found out some of the things I was getting this year, I expressed my disappointment about every year I do not get what I asked for. Some friends/family were hurt by what I said. I made myself very clear that from now on when it comes to Bdays and Xmases, if it is not what I want, the gifts will given back to the giver. I will make no apologies about what I said or did.

I have gifts from the last 2 Xmas' that I do not wear or use. There wasn't any thought put into these gifts.Some may say what I did is wrong and immature, but if I can put forth the effort to get people what they want, they should make the effort to do the same

i was just looking through some peoples answers and its kind of pathetic the things people write. I put up a photo and got some very rude responses eg-ur a fake wh***e. now that doesnt bother me in the slightest but i've seen like 12 year old girls putting up pictures and them getting abuse.like what is wrong with some people? am i the only one who feels this way? why answer someones question if your just going to be pathetic and try put them down or leave a stupid rude answer??

This morning she had a fight with the toilet and the toilet lost it was laying over on it's side and water was shooting up to the ceiling, she flooded my apartment and her's what should be done about her , her family is not willing to put her in a nursing home aparently, what is she going to do next , she boils stuff dry on the stove and smokes up the place and many other crazy things her short term memory is 0.

Today in the mail, my mom received a Christmas card from my EX In-laws addressed to her, and my three children. I live here too.

I have never been there so I don't know what the restaraunt is like. My fiance and I will be taking our two children, Mariah and Sydnie. What would be the proper attire for them?

My Kitchen window above the sink is directly in line with theirs only 8 feet away.
They perform EVERY imaginable act in front of the window at all hours, day and night.
They must know we can see them, and they don't seem to care.My other neighbors make excuses to come over to see if any "action" is going on.
What would you do, if anything?

My parents were out of power for around 8 days because of that ice storm. I visited them for a few days and 2 of those were days without power.
I noticed that people a few miles down the road, who had already gotten their power back, were decking out their homes with Christmas lights, outdoor light up decorations, etc. Now I know it's the season for that, but I found it to be really inconsiderate of them when they knew that there were tons of homes without power.
Is it just me, or do you guys think that's rude too?

Just for that annoying ad, I'll never shop at GAPs again, even though I haven't for years because of their overseas sweat shops exploiting children working 12 hrs a day for $2 a day. But why doens't Yahoo take down that stupid ad just out of courtesy to its ranting members who hate the thing?

I am an applications support analyst making 14.15 per hour. Started a year and a half ago after graduating with a BA in Business Admin concentrating in Mgt information systems. Review was meeting expectation but only got a raise of $0.30!!this year.

When I asked why so less I was told that they started me at a pretty high rate and is unable to give me a large raise because the people who have been working here for 8 years only make about $1-2 more than me.

Obviously I am pretty upset about this and I feel that my hard work and ability has not paid off throughout the year and will be actively seeking for new employment with another firm. There is also no oppurtunities to move up. They said they do tuition reimbursement but when I asked about doing my MBA the program will not apply for MBA candidates. They only pay for BA's and there is a limit of $3500/year is reimbursement.

We did not get anything for xmas, no bonus at all. Just a $25 gift card from the dpt vp ouf of his pocket!

Whenever his Mom introduces me to a family member or friend she says in English, "This is Lynn, Rob's girlfriend," then she continues on in her native language. I hear my name several more times, but have no idea what is being said about me. Boyfriend doesn't speak the langauge, so he doesn't know either.

Also, I was watching TV with Mom, boyfriend and Mom's friend once and even though both of them speak perfect English, they kept talking in the other language back and forth. It's her house, but I thought it was kind of rude.

What do you think?

I work in an office of about 15 people, and most of them I have worked with for over 2 years. However, I really get along well with only a couple of them and want to get them a Christmas gift. Will this offend the others? (Of course I got my Boss a little something so thats not an issue).

About a month ago I got a job where I take elderly people out on outings. Many of them use wheelchairs, walkers and canes.
Yesterday I had three clients with me, and we stopped at a gas station so they could use the bathroom. One elderly woman (who does not need assistance when toileting) was using the bathroom, meanwhile I walked another client to car. Went back to store, elderly woman was standing outside the store, I asked if she was ready to get in car, and she said 'yes', so I walked her to the car.
Upon dropping her off at her home, I realize her purse (it only had $3 in it) and cane are gone.

I went back to gas station, but they were gone, and staff said no one had turned them in. So someone must have taken them.

I apologized to her daughter who she lives with, and said I'll pay for replacements. My boss says no, the company will cover.

Cane was bought at pharmacy, could be a few hundred $ to replace.

Should I pay for replacements, or let company pay?
