I have been dating a guy for over two years... and he bought me some luggage, a frying pan, and a toaster oven for Christmas.... what do you make of that? Seems pretty boring huh?

Some people are really bad gifters and don't really know what to get for other people. I'm the same way so what i try to do is either get a gift card or ask the person what they want as a gift. See it his way, its the thought that counts. At least he tried, he could have gotten you nothing.

Did you ever say at one time or another that you needed them or the ones you have are old ? Maybe with the luggage he plans to take you some place and a toaster over is handy to have. I don't know what is up with the fry pan. Best of luck foe Valentines Day !

Are these presents he's given you over the past two Christmases or just this year? In either case, but especially the latter, don't they sound like presents a man would give his (I wish I could make you scroll down to find this word) WIFE? Could it be that he thinks of you as someone to make a home with? And then where would you be taking that luggage? (Niagara Falls? The Poconos?) So if you're still in suspense about this year's gift, maybe it will come in a VERY small box? (And if it doesn't, do you feel like nudging him by asking something like, "Honey, is there a reason you keep giving me such homey things?"?)

But it isnt Christmas yet....how do you know?
Anyway, did you need them? Mention that the ones you had weren't working? he might have just picked up on that and got them
Never be upset about what the gift is, its a gift, meaning someone thought enough to buy you something. You can always exchange it.

Hard to tell if the luggage means he's going to take you on some great vacations soon or if he's expects you to stay home and cook for him. He has some explaining to do. ; )

Sounds like he either wants you to go on a trip with him (which I wouldn't just a word of advice) or he wants you to cook more or he thinks your a good cook.

Yea, actually, those are really lame gifts. Didn't he ask you what you wanted? What did you get him?
