We all have them, what are yours? Mine is when people in line are rude to the person working. I always speak up on behalf of the worker, I have worked many retail jobs as a teen. PLEASE be nice to these kids, they are someone's baby. How would you like some stranger treating your baby that way???

Will you hold the door open for me, a pregnant lady with a toddler and a 3 year old? So many times, (mostly rude teen boys) just let it slam in my face, stroller and all..and do not even look back to see if anyone is there. My 3 year old son holds the door for everyone because I taught him that. Please?

There is this girl in my class who is a real *****.She can be really sweet whilst she is stabbing you in the back. She really wound me up the other day till I lost it and called her a ******* ***** and went to push her this was before anyone else arrived,as I did the tutor came in to pull us of and I told him to **** off too because I was still seeing red.She realised i would get into trouble and gave a calm smile and said I don't know just because she wanted to see this boy and I told her he was seeing me.This was a complete lie so I threw a nearby book which hit the tutor on the shoulder I then ran off cos I could not face themI know this looks really bad for me but I am usually not a truoblemaker at all.Now I dread going back although my friend says she will stick up for me as she knows what this girl is like. When I got home the school had not contacted my parents which may be a good thing.I know if I did get suspended they would be so mad as they both work in education and it would

I work at a customer service center for a local electric company. When I tell people that it will be a few minutes before a representative is available I always ask them to have a seat in our waiting area.

Old people NEVER sit when asked. They either stand in front of my desk and read the pamphlets we have or peer over me while I am trying to do my work.... what gives?

I am an assistant in a very corporate sales office, and between my family and my boyfriend's family, I am completely broke this Christmas. Is it tacky to not purchase Christmas presents for my sales team? There are only 5 individuals and we are all pitching in for a present for our manager.

Everywhere i've worked, spouses/partners have been invited. Here, it seems to be the case less often. What do you think?

I was on the train, waiting for the door to open. The train has motion sensors. This means that if you enter the area where the door is the door won't open, and you'd have to find another exit. So I was waiting for the door to open and the woman in front of me looked like she was going to go before the door finished opening. Not even thinking, on an instinct I gently touched her arm and was politely like "no don't go, it won't open." She then proceeds to yell at me. "Don't touch me. Use your words. This isn't the first time I've ridden the train, etc." I say, "I'm sorry." She yells at me again. I say I'm sorry again, but you don't have to be mean about it.

I just don't get this reaction. Can anyone please help me understand this so I can get over it. I'm kind of still in shock and keep replaying it in my head. Thanks!

She takes care of our infant son on Tuesdays (all day), Thursday (9am to 2pm) and Friday (9am to 2pm). We like her a lot and she is very good with him.

I worked with this lady who was very difficult to work with. We both got along, but any other person she's worked with never liked her. Not only that, but everybody else in the office doesn't like her either. Well I recently got a promotion and she's been a complete B-Word to me because she's been here over a year longer than I have.

So now that I'm in a different area, people talk crap about her all day long and call her by her nickname "Cupcake" because she's so uptight.

I feel bad and I feel pressured to make fun of her too.

I haven't, but what would you guys do in my situation?

Yes it is a tradegy but this is what makes me sick. Was nobody else in that mall carrying? If they were, why didn't they shoot back. I will tell you what, the time someone finally steps up and guns down one of these sad sacks on a rampage. It will vindicate all reasons why more people should carry guns.

Every time I go to the mall there are these people selling lotions and Dead Sea products and they are super pushy. If you are walking by they try to physically guide you over so that they can buff your nails or rub lotion on your hands. Maybe they are instructed to accost customers by their managers, but it irritates the hell out of me. If I wanted lotion, I know where to find some. Now, I know it is just their job, but I wouldn't work at a job that forced me to bother shoppers. What are your opinions on this?

Let me clarify- Not all kiosk people are like this, not even most. I am just annoyed with the ones that pester shoppers.

Last night i took a job bartending.
Employees came in got smashed...climbed on the bar and simulated having sex with each other while men watched and took pictures?!?! Screaming and calling each other bit**es and ni**a's. Ewww...

They left the bar a mess and the owners watched and participated!!

I am not a prude and love a fun night out ( dancing and drinking) ...but where is the line? Why do women seek this kind of attention. I get called "stuck up" when i object to this behavior. Why?!?!

Women ...how can we move past this ?

He constatly has big bass thumping through my room and no matter how often me and his other neighbour say, he still refuses to turn it down. We are uni students and I have assignments due but I can't concentrate because of his music. We've tried a house meeting to no avail. He also plays his music late into the night so I never get more then 2 hours sleep. Does anyone else have this problem? Any advice? Thanks

My kids and I were at the laundromat (yay... GOSH I need a working dryer!) tonight, and they have a small tv there. My four-year-old was sitting and watching a show -- I think it might have been a rerun of the Cosby Show -- when he laughed and announced loudly, "I like that black show!"

At the time, I just shushed him.

If he says something like that again, though, how should I respond? Should I just shush him? Ignore it? Tell him it's not nice?

I can't even tell if I think it's offensive or not. I mean, he wasn't saying anything negative about it. He didn't know the name of the show. But it just seemed to ring an "inappropriate" alarm.
