if these pants are jeans nobut if they are dress pants then it's okay

This is completely appropriate as long as...
1) wear dressy shoes, heels preferable... it will dress up the look. Don't wear beat-in loafers.
2) Dress it up with jewelry
3) Make sure it is not a place of worship which does not believe in women wearing slacks. There are some very conservative churches which believe womoen should only wear skirts. If this is the case at that church, you should abide by their general rules of dress out of respect.

I think you won't like hearing this: a suit, dress or skirt are ways of showing honor to both the church and the bride and groom and their families. While you could wear a burlap sack... going the extra mile and dressing UP is the nicest choice. It's only my opinion... am sure you'll look nice in whatever you choose. Hugs, Gina C.

Dressy slack are always appropriate in my mind. I would avoid jeans.
However, there are some churches that expect women to wear skirts/dresses. You may want to verify that the church you will be attending does not have that expectation. Usually mainline catholic and protestant churches are not like this, but there are fringe groups...

If you have a skirt or dress that might be better, but if not go with the pants and blouse.

No, that is too casual. Wear a dress or a suit with a skirt. Pants are not appropriate.

Yes. The last two weddings I went to there were ladies in nice slacks with pretty bouses or jackets. Also, if you live in a cold climate, that makes even more sense.

Sure, especially if it is cold outside. Make sure you wear nice accessories and maybe some nice high heeled boots or shoes.
