Other than the usual calling the police or constantly complaining to the landlord (to no avail), what other mischievous things can I do to get rid of them asap.

You can't get rid of them unless you don't have to sign a lease to live there. Keep reporting them, or try going over to talk to them. My neighbors are ******* with 10 kids and they don't speak english, so the only thing we can do is report them and the landlord just sends them letters saying there have been complaints filed against them. You can blast your music at all hours, but then the police might end up coming to speak to you instead.

I would try and get a copy of my town's noise ordinance and make a copy and leave it on their door. Make a copy to the landlord too. Also, somewhere in your rental agreement, should be something pertaining to noise. Give them that a copy too and point it out next time you have to call your landlord.
Doing mischievous things can only make matter worse.
Talking might help, but rude people don't get it.
Our neighbors (I am a home owner) used to think that they could use our driveway as a parking lot. Not just for a party that they might be having, but anytime. And they would leave their house and leave their car parked there with no way to move it. Now, no one could come or go. We explained this to them and they didn't care. They moved it only after threats (when we saw them park there. My driveway is 220 ft long, up hill). The last time they parked there are night, it was around 12:00 am, and we called an ambulance, well since they couldn't get up, they called a tow truck to remove their car. They were pissed that the police would not just let them move it. They got a ticket and had to pay all kinds or things regarding the towing. This still didn't stop them. I had to put up more NO TRESSPASSIN signs and call the police everytime. It got to be a daily thing. Finally, after the police threatened with jail, did they stop.

Knock on his door, and ask him if there is a possibility for him to reduce the sources of his sound pollution. Don't approach him with antagonism, nor in an apologetic manner. I'm sure that if you act respectfully and let him consider the choices that are available for him to make, changes in his insensitive behavior, a satisfactorily mutual solution can be negotiated.

I have been in the same boat....had a neighbour who was literally crazy...the police and fire department were called on a regular basis, she was carted off to the psych ward for observation but was always released after 3 days and was back doing the same insane stuff....unfortunately nothing could be done...she paid her rent on time which appears to be the bottom line. Start looking for a new place to live...sad, but true.

Your local library will have a tenants handbook telling of your rights and responsibilities as a tenant ,this also applys to the landlord. The landlord must speak to them

Contact City Hall and find out if there are any noise ordinances. Get it in writing, and send it to your neighbor and landlord.

Just tell them they're annoying, honestly at this point who cares about their feelings just be blunt or they'll never get the hint.

well....I can think of one, but it's too obvious and evil.

Try confronting them and telling them how you feel if you haven't. Other than that there really isn't much to do.
