Focus on your own work, you're not the supervisor.

Supervisor isn't doing her/his job. Ruly employee, has been talked to 'over & over' and has sufficient verbal warnings. What is the company policy regarding discipline? Until the supervisor follows up with action, it will affect your job. Damaging equipment, is immediate dismissal in most companies.

I was in a similar situation, and whistleblew on a coworker, and it got out and I ended up to be the snitch instead of getting something done about a lazy coworker..she's still there after getting her job back after two fires..hurrah for a union? It's a management problem. They need to make the fire stick....let the evidence pile up and you back off.

It's not your job to manage this employee. It's your supervisor's job to handle the situation so your best bet is to stay out of it. If the other employee does things that effect your work, you need to report these to management and let them handle it. If they can't handle the responsibility of properly managing their team, they aren't doing THEIR job.

If you have a certain job to do, concentrate on that. You actually want to be invisble to your boss. All your boss cares about is getting the job done. That's it. Clock in, do your job only, clock out, and go home. Truth.

It appears that you have already informed your boss about it, so that is good. If you don't feel that your bosses are doing what they should, maybe you should find a different place to work.
