We all have them, what are yours? Mine is when people in line are rude to the person working. I always speak up on behalf of the worker, I have worked many retail jobs as a teen. PLEASE be nice to these kids, they are someone's baby. How would you like some stranger treating your baby that way???

The parking lot stalkers. You know...the people who follow you with your bags to your car so that they can wait for you to move and take your spot, all while backing up everyone behind them. I usually unload my bags, get in the car, start it, reverse a little bit but then pull back in, get out and walk back into the store.

The reactions are priceless.

This year it started when I went to buy a mattress three weeks before Thanksgiving, and the furniture store was decorated and playing holiday music.

Then, it’s the shoppers who stand in the middle of aisles (ever better when it’s a store with carts and they can use that to take up even more space, BEST when they’re on the phone too!) oblivious that anyone else might want to shop the same aisle too.

And that half the radio stations are playing Christmas music. Thank god I got an MP3 player last year!

I have to many pet peeves.
1) People cursing in front of other's, not taking into consideration their feelings.
2) People not returning their carts.
3) When people that have more then 10 items go to the under 10 item line.
4) Kid's/teens standing in front of a person in front of a wheel chair person. On Purpose, knowinglingly standing right their when their is plently of other room for them to go.

My biggest pet peeve is when mall shoppers insist on carrying around 15 shopping bags just bulging with purchases everywhere they go. Even if it's a big mall, your car isn't THAT far away... for the love of all that is good, take a couple loads to the car so you dont constantly knock things off displays, clothing off racks, and bump into other innocent shoppers.

I hate that people who never shop the rest of the year decide they have to get everything done at the very last minute! So they're crowding the stores, pushing and shoving and just generally being rude and obnoxious, mad because they decided to wait until the last minute! I hate that it becomes so much about presents and wanting things, buying stuff for people because you HAVE to, not because you love them and want to make them happy. And I really hate the way store employees get treated; never mind that this is someones baby, this is a human being, a child of God. There's just no reason for it!

Badly performed Christmas carols that play over... and over... and over. This rattling worldwide recession... the Australian greenback is like part of what it used to be. I do not know... the truth that they have got been celebrating Christmas considering that the core of November, and I've not ever felt much less jolly in my lifestyles. The suggestion that final Christmas has simply ended, I swear... and this used to be probably the most first-class yr of my lifestyles and it is virtually over. The suggestion that, as soon as once more, I have NO suggestion what to get folks for Christmas, and the suggestion that I'll have got to face the overcrowded department shops at a few level. Bahaha, I sound like a whole grinch. Don't brain me... I'll be extra into it afterward :)

For me, because I am not Christian, holiday shopping gets me 15 different shades of pissed off. It begins with all of the Christmas decor prior to Halloween and ends with the last gospel Christmas song two weeks after New Year's Day. No offense, I am not anti-Christian, but this is a pluralistic country and all of the "Merry Christmas" wishes are well and good within that religious community. For the rest of us... it gets old before Turkey Day. Merry Yule to the Pagans of the world and Happy Holidays / have a nice day to everyone else.

BB :)

i hate people who are rude to the clerks! i speak back for them as well, because they are not allowed. I worked as a cashier too and i know how bad it is. Its not their fault if the line is long or there is only that many staff... they have no power of decision! plus most of them are at minimum wage.

another petpeeve: people who steal items from other's shoping carts. If theres none left on the shelves, too bad for you! this happens a lot at Wal Mart

You know what else i REALLY hate: people who move your cart because they are too stupid to ask you (btw, i understand when the cart is in the way but im talking when you've put your cart on the side and a person happens to want to look at that very shelf). One day i was at Zellers and my BABY GIRL was sitting in the cart and some dumb guy moved my cart... not just 1 feet away... he pushed it to the end of the row and turned it around the corner... he wanted access to the whole shelving unit... IDIOT.. my 8 mo old is sitting in it!

amazing how many people have problems with sales clerks
i cant think of one time i had such a bad experience i can remember it! hmmmm is it the sales clerks that are rude or maybe its YOU
any ways
pet peeves
people with baby strollers blocking up the aisles
people with shopping carts who dont move the thing out of the way and just pretend you are not trying to get by
i park my cart in a out of the way place and shop and dump my stuff in the cart then move on to another part of the store park the cart and walk around and shop the new area...really people its so much easier on everybody
and the kids!! why the heck are you dragging your kids around with you..they dont want to be there and it would be easier on your and EVERYBODY else if you left them at home
also the people that wait in the check out line for twenty minutes then when its their turn finally they dont have their stinking money or cc ready!! what the heck did ya think it was going to be free? you were just standing in line get ready
and take the clothes on the hangers organize things get your money ready..so you can check out quicker and be nice to EVERYBODY the world does not revolve around YOU

I hate people being nasty. I try to spend as little time as possible in the malls, if not I get very aggravated, and have to go to the bar, and after 3 or 4 drinks, can't do anymore shopping.

This year, I have done more shopping on line than in previous years.

People need to calm down, and not wait till the last minute and then drive crazy, it is dangerous, especially in this weather, leave earlier, know what your after, and remember everyone else has to shop to, the worker is only doing their job when they would rather be home with their family, they have to earn money just like everyone else, so be nice to everyone and treat them the way you would want to be treated.
